My opinion. There are about 100,000 active police officers in this country. There are 40,883 polling stations in the country. If you allocate 2 officers per station, you will find nearly 82,000 officers will be manning elections. This leaves very few officers to handle general security in the country with all the threats including alshabab. Hon RAO should realise that it's only prudent that kenyans are protected. Every kenyan life matters wherever inside or outside kenya. In my opinion any security resource is important at this time when security could easily be breached! Ama vipi wakenya?
