After the huge seas and strong gale and storm force winds I experienced in the southern ocean while singlehanding a 33' sailboat from Saldana, S. Africa to Tonga in the S. Pacific, the Tasman sea was a piece of cake. I had no long range communication gear (just a VHF radio) aboard so it was just me and the albatrosses for nearly 3 months. A very memorable experience.
Tip 1 : hold the phone horizontally, not vertically. It takes a little more effort but produces much better video. Tip 2 : Write a bit of description, eg rough location, where you were going and from where, season, what cruise ship, etc. It will make for a more engaging video than just uploading from your phone with a title.
Very interesting.

I can’t believe Andrew McAuley tried to KAYAK 1000 miles across that sea 😫
You need to check out the Bass straight between mainland Australia and Tasmania
There's actually something quite thrilling and magnificent about being that close to the ocean when its like that.
Wait until your on a fishing boat and don't see one coming because the skipper is a fwit and not doing his job properly or at all .....
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing
I am on the Tasman sea rn kinda bumpy had to change ports
Got sea sick from just clicking play
