I lost both my husband and daughter a few months ago. It's been ridiculously hard to deal with all that has been thrown at me, in so many areas. I can only do it with God's help. I keep saying how could someone without any faith get through this?!? I loved your comment in today's reading about Job and how he was tested BECAUSE he was faithful (page 113). I'd like to think this is my "Job trial". God doesn't owe me an explanation. He's the awesome creator of the universe. I'd like to say that I'm just sailing through this with a peaceful attitude because I know God but that's just not the truth. It's been such a trial with all the pain, hurt, fear, anxiety, etc... you can imagine. It's changing daily but so far not for the better. It's too soon. I have hope for the future but it's not coming fast enough it seems. So, day by day I'm working on moving forward. I can't live in the past but I can't say stuck here in the present either. It's a very uncomfortable place to be. Thanks Courtney for sharing your gifts. You really do make this world a better place. Hopefully we become stronger women of God because of your positive inspiration and light !!

It seems impossible for me to let go of a lot of things. Forgiveness is so hard for me and I have a hard time not going over things in my mind that I should forgive and forget. I always pray that God will help me forgive, but it’s not happening right away. I also have excessive self concern. It seems I have a lot of thoughts from the enemy. I have to be vigilant to believe God’s Word and stand firm in my armor
You are not alone Jill. This is an area where we all get tripped up. Our heart may long to honor God and do the right thing but sometimes somethings are just really really hard to get past. But God knows what is best for us. He loves us so much and wants us to find healing and be free. Keep on going! God is with you and he will help you. Xo 💕 💖
