To everyone asking about groom this is udaya wedding. The groom does not go to pick bride. The bride is given by bride side gubhaju to groom side gubhaju and during the process the father in law takes the vow in presence of gubhaju (guru) to protect the bride not only from outside but even from within family itself if needs be. Once she reaches grooms house she is welcomed by mother in law. Mother in law washes her feet and hands over the keys to the safe (symbolizing she will be handling the finances of house from now on) during welcome process. Groom is the least important one here. Basically groom only comes to picture during swayamber ceremony which happens at the end. The level of respect a daughter in law is given in udaya culture, you will not see that anywhere in Nepal.
Everything is GREAT but our lovely Priest should wear Priestly dress during the performance of our wedding and other holy ceremonies. Where is Groom side video of the wedding ceremony? Cool to see that too. Good Luck to newly wedded couple.
