Vinyl, is it hard to do songs with a speed of 1? Because i wanna start making famitracker covers with that speed.
it's not that hard once you get the hang of it, and personally it's hard for me not to use speed 1. it takes some practice and a lot of copy-pasting.
I've been making sound effect demos at that speed.
how do you get those types of waveforms in the N163? do you use some sort of coverter that takes a WAV file and makes split n163 sample data? i know there is n106izer but it only works with small loops

What version of 0CC-Famitracker are you using? The .0cc doesn't work in mine, and I presumably have the latest version.

VinylCheese used more than one wavetable for the Slap Bass.
N163 allows you to change wavetables playing on that sound chip without "phase reset", so it is possible to simulate a PWM, synth bass, or create a slap bass on N163.
But the limitations are:
1. N163 only has 128B RAM for the wavetables, and its memory will be reduced if you increase more channels (up to 8).
2. It has 4-bit Depth (has 16 steps for amplitude), so you can hear high-pitched sound (5 octaves high) on a waveform.
3. Only up to 64 sample length (you can choose 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64).
