Lip syncing is kind of a joke in our Fandom because these boys cannot do that to save they're life 😂😂 and even if they do we can tell because sometimes it's not in sync or they mess up and then they just try they're very best not to laugh. These boys also don't know CGI because they created the Grammy stage In South Korea and also danced on a floating helicopter landing spot. They sometimes might have tuning in they're mics but that's usually because of the songs stylistic choices. And Sometimes they actually sing but there's so many electronic effects on top of they're voice but that's also a stylistic choice.
It is funny when they do try and lip sync for their videos. Your right, they can't do it very well at all 😂😂. I also think it is really smart to have the backing track when they are live because it does give them a chance to catch a breath here and there. Which they need because their live performances are insane.

BTS has 30+ live performances of Dynamite and each performance has a different set and production and also sung differently. The best vocals for Dynamite was during MTV Unplugged. They were seated, not jumping around, so the vocals shone through.
I have seen them in person. It is electrifying. There is nothing in the world like seeing them perform live. You have to be there to really feel what I mean. ARMY AND BTS FOREVER. 💜💜💜💜
I think you would really enjoy their MMA 2019 performance, it's an award show, their performance is 37 minutes long, but it's worth every second, it's one of the most amazing performances I have ever seen!
Ohhh, you haven't seen anything yet. You cannot compare a presentation of awards from America or Europe, with an Asian one (MMA, MAMA, Golden Disk Award among others) the size of the stage, the technology (light years away) the amount of audience, the duration of the event ... You just saw three minutes of performance, BTS has up to 48 minutes at an awards show. It is well known that when BTS performs, that award is transformed into a BTS concert. Thank you for giving a shout out to all the behind the scene guys, we all tend to forget about them..we all know BTS will do an awesome over the top performance always, no lip singing. When you see the behind the scenes they said they did a one take that took them like 4-5 hours to perfect and because of the high levels of ozone/pollution they had sore throats after they finished. They do a perfect job every time.
Hey NJ! Big Hit recreated the live Grammy stage in Seoul for this. The show tried using them for views, saying before every commercial break that next it's BTS! but putting them on at the very end. The guys were up all night and here's the funny and beautiful part. You may know the Recording Academy snubbed many artists of color on nominations and awards. BTS was the best selling artist globally last year with a critically acclaimed album that got no nominations, two #1 Billboard albums, but it is what it is. After being up all night, used for views, our guys had an unannounced VLive right after the broadcast and drew over 10 million people as soon as the notification went out, over 2 million more than the televised award show. They were exhausted, disappointed but they stayed up all night to come on their platform and thank the ARMY. They promised, as always, to go out and do better, which they somehow always do - mind blowing - and even though they were down, they made their VLive all about making sure the fans were okay. I have joined in VLives before and seen the live viewership hit 10, 13, even over 20 million people. Can't understand anything except a word here and there and it's usually around 3 or 4 a.m. my time but it's always up the next day with subtitles. They're not only massively talented but down to earth and they treat ARMY as their 8th member. "We are not seven, with you." - We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal. Welcome aboard, mate. They will continually amaze you.

BTS`S crew has always been doing their best to give BTS the best performance. Even back when the Company was near bankruptcy when BTS first debuted, they still managed to help BTS shine hand have jaws dropped at their performances with their limited budget and resources. Just as BTS has also always been doing their best to show their best side, and give a good show, so the crew's hard work was always not for nothing. BTS always sings live, which is crazy considering some of the choreos they do. When they sing for US TV shows, they usually stop singing for half a line to prove that they're really singing - V (green mic) did it here at 1:05 in the original video. I think lip synching is the only thing these men are actually bad at, and it's because they have deliberately not honed that particular skill!
oh the emotions we had to go through for this performance.. waiting for hours for this, wreaking havoc on twitter... and we're glad they uploaded it on their channel... and yes, they're singing live and yes, ARMYs not only love the boys but also the crew, the CEO, the editors, the stylist, the managers, the choreographer, the producers... because ever since the beginning, they were there to support them, they're the one who believes in them and cried with them when they got their first major award..

Bighit staff is the best. Most of them have been with BTS for a long time. They treat each other well and want to see each other succeed. BTS and Bighit are quite forward thinking and always just think of how to elevate their crafts whether it's make up, costume, health, videos, performance directors, security... all of them are together are an admirable team.
I heard that when they had shot this, it was really cold in Korea and the air quality was bad. That could've had affected their performance, but it's BTS-no circumstance can beat them!

It's amazing that someone like you, who can hear live voices, noticed that they were singing live. Several ppl, I wouldn't call them ARMY but some are trying to say that the guys lip synced. But between V actually not singing a few words, and Jimin and Jungkook changing a note or two during the song...not to mention Jin pushing himself at the end like he does. However you can hear the live vocals. Not to mention, that the Grammys uploaded every preformance to their page except for one. Gee can you guess which one they didn't upload. And HYBE decided to upload it themselves. The Grammys used BTS that night...everyone knows it, proceeds to nominate them in the group category, where BTW they were the only Duo/Group in the entire category and then gave a Group Grammy to a collaboration. I have nothing against the winner, which was Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. All the nominees in this category were collabs. There were no other bands for this category. To me that was a set up for the views, and when they didn't win that would be a perfect excuse to not upload their song to their page. I believe everyone who uploaded onto the Grammy page were all the winners that preformed...but I may be wrong, but that's just me. I am glad you got to see how good they really are when it comes to preforming live!
You are absolutely right. There is nothing like them. BTS are a genre unto themselves. The whole crew behind them and the dancers are awesome and BTS always acknowledge all of them. You must watch the 2019 award show where they performed Dionysus a real mindblower and NO lip syncing

BTS always sings live! They can’t lip sing for their lives 😂😂 However sometimes it’s clearer to hear their live vocals and breathing through the mic depending on the mics and use of backing vocals on the tracks. Sometimes and some songs they use more backing vocals on the song than others. But always have their mics on when performing live 👏🏼

welcome ARMY!! One thing i have to say - people love BTS can't be bad people. The more you dig into them, you naturally will share their positivity and be inspired to be a better person. They didn't win the Grammy but they show the world/US music industry how great and different they are from the other artists in the industry. Other than the performance, we saw how they reacted to the annoucement they were going to perform, reacted to they didn't get the grammy, and after they had live to comfort the fans that even they don't win they will work harder next time and how happy they could perform - they share the fans the human side not just the celebrity side. That's why we love them.
I’m trying to figure out how to communicate my feelings well...I have been army since 2016. There is no doubt that BTS are gifted artists - singers/rappers, dancers, song writers, producers, etc. Their lyrics and melodies are complex and multi-layered, and when you really listen and get into their albums, you will understand why they should be respected and praised for their talent and hard work. But the level of devotion that army has for BTS is way deeper than that of “regular” fan for artist. I believe the reason for this is the actual men of BTS, and their Company, who have always supported their artistic freedom. The men of BTS are truly kind, decent, respectful, and very hard working people, who are committed to actually making the world a better place - they put their time, effort, and money behind projects and charities and use their influence to help where they can. Sometimes they don’t publicize what they do, they just do it, and sometimes they use the publicity that comes from their name to help push a particular cause. We have gotten to know them very well over the years, there are thousands of hours of video - Bon Voyage, BTS Run, VLive (and others) - available, and while I understand that they are aware of the cameras, I don’t believe they can keep up a complete act that remains consistent for this long - in other words, I believe that we do see them honestly, and that their bond with each other, their love for each other, and their love for army, is real. So the reason army is so dedicated (and big) is not actually just because of the music (that is why we start, usually 😂), the music is awesome of course, but it is because we do actually love these men, it’s a real affection, and it is because of who they are, not just what they do. Thank you for appreciating the, 💜💜🙏
One thing you learn pretty quick about our boys is they can’t lipsync - like it is actually a joke amid the fandom. They are hopeless at it! They sing live always - they will have a backing track of course, but they always sing. They have been accused in the past of lip syncing, there is a video of SUGA not rapping part of a song on a show performance just to prove they were live. Also for this they actually built the Grammy set as it was in the states and did actually dance on a helipad in Seoul. They don’t use much if any CGI.

Bts don’t lip sync at all. They may have a track playing in the background but it’s very low or they just play louder the parts that involve heavy choreo to give them a breather but they always sing live
I recommend watching: Who is BTS? The Seven Members of Bangtan. Its kind of a BTS introduction video and it dives into their individual backgrounds and personalities. If the video doesn't make it clear, the members are like brothers/best friends. They have lived together for 10years and its clear that they love each other. They are amazing, humble, down to earth, funny, and kind people. I recommend watching any BTS introduction videos but the one I recommended is a great start!! It's amazing that someone like you, who can hear live voices, noticed that they were singing live. Several ppl, I wouldn't call them ARMY but some are trying to say that the guys lip synced. But between V actually not singing a few words, and Jimin and Jungkook changing a note or two during the song...not to mention Jin pushing himself at the end like he does. However you can hear the live vocals. Not to mention, that the Grammys uploaded every preformance to their page except for one. Gee can you guess which one they didn't upload. And HYBE decided to upload it themselves.
The Grammys used BTS that night...everyone knows it, proceeds to nominate them in the group category, where BTW they were the only Duo/Group in the entire category and then gave a Group Grammy to a collaboration. I have nothing against the winner, which was Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. All the nominees in this category were collabs. There were no other bands for this category. To me that was a set up for the views, and when they didn't win that would be a perfect excuse to not upload their song to their page. I believe everyone who uploaded onto the Grammy page were all the winners that preformed...but I may be wrong, but that's just me.

You are absolutely right. There is nothing like them. BTS are a genre unto themselves. The whole crew behind them and the dancers are awesome and BTS always acknowledge all of them. You must watch the 2019 award show where they performed Dionysus a real mindblower and NO lip syncing

They can’t lip sing for their lives 😂😂 However sometimes it’s clearer to hear their live vocals and breathing through the mic depending on the mics and use of backing vocals on the tracks. Sometimes and some songs they use more backing vocals on the song than others. But always have their mics on when performing live 👏🏼

welcome ARMY!! One thing i have to say - people love BTS can't be bad people. The more you dig into them, you naturally will share their positivity and be inspired to be a better person.
They didn't win the Grammy but they show the world/US music industry how great and different they are from the other artists in the industry.
Other than the performance, we saw how they reacted to the annoucement they were going to perform, reacted to they didn't get the grammy, and after they had live to comfort the fans that even they don't win they will work harder next time and how happy they could perform - they share the fans the human side not just the celebrity side. That's why we love them.

I’m trying to figure out how to communicate my feelings well...I have been army since 2016. There is no doubt that BTS are gifted artists - singers/rappers, dancers, song writers, producers, etc. Their lyrics and melodies are complex and multi-layered, and when you really listen and get into their albums, you will understand why they should be respected and praised for their talent and hard work. But the level of devotion that army has for BTS is way deeper than that of “regular” fan for artist. I believe the reason for this is the actual men of BTS, and their Company, who have always supported their artistic freedom. The men of BTS are truly kind, decent, respectful, and very hard working people, who are committed to actually making the world a better place - they put their time, effort, and money behind projects and charities and use their influence to help where they can. Sometimes they don’t publicize what they do, they just do it, and sometimes they use the publicity that comes from their name to help push a particular cause. We have gotten to know them very well over the years, there are thousands of hours of video - Bon Voyage, BTS Run, VLive (and others) - available, and while I understand that they are aware of the cameras, I don’t believe they can keep up a complete act that remains consistent for this long - in other words, I believe that we do see them honestly, and that their bond with each other, their love for each other, and their love for army, is real. So the reason army is so dedicated (and big) is not actually just because of the music (that is why we start, usually 😂), the music is awesome of course, but it is because we do actually love these men, it’s a real affection, and it is because of who they are, not just what they do. Thank you for appreciating the, 💜💜🙏

One thing you learn pretty quick about our boys is they can’t lipsync - like it is actually a joke amid the fandom. They are hopeless at it! They sing live always - they will have a backing track of course, but they always sing. They have been accused in the past of lip syncing, there is a video of SUGA not rapping part of a song on a show performance just to prove they were live. Also for this they actually built the Grammy set as it was in the states and did actually dance on a helipad in Seoul. They don’t use much if any CGI.

Among all the things you mentioned, they rebuilt the Grammys set in Seoul. They were the only performers who couldn't be there in person, but you wouldn't have known it until the end. Their team is so much a part of what they do, and really the best.

Bts don’t lip sync at all. They may have a track playing in the background but it’s very low or they just play louder the parts that involve heavy choreo to give them a breather but they always sing live

I recommend watching: Who is BTS? The Seven Members of Bangtan.
Its kind of a BTS introduction video and it dives into their individual backgrounds and personalities. If the video doesn't make it clear, the members are like brothers/best friends. They have lived together for 10years and its clear that they love each other. They are amazing, humble, down to earth, funny, and kind people. I recommend watching any BTS introduction videos but the one I recommended is a great start!!
