Im a big fan of this hair. It's GREAT for vacation! I wore it in the pool and the beach in DR and kept it for 5 more weeks after! You look great!

I loooooveeee this hair, tried crochet braids for the first time and used it and is in love. Couldn't find the color I want for my sec install but will be found going back to it soon. U killed it!

Love the look! Although I wish you would've showed the back a bit more clearly and maybe parted the hair a bit to get a glimpse of the braid pattern. When I watch these videos I'm always interested in seeing the back AND the sides of the hair to see how it falls and to see the fullness and uniformity of the style. That's just me though. Beautiful, beautiful, outcome!! The curl pattern is just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing luv!

Agreed. All of the crochet videos that I've seen, especially when they're demonstrating trimming and shaping, they NEVER show what the back looks like. It's quite frustrating

Amber...I'm a long time crotchet braid wearer and I did not like this hair at all...it was too tangly and too frizzy. I've had it in a week and I already want to cut it out. Glad it worked for you but it just wasn't for me.

I thought it was just me. My whole issue was that I didn't want something that got frizzy or tangled and I looked at this video and was convinced this would be a good one, but I ended up with it being frizzy and tangled smh. A waste of money. I'm trying to figure out how to avoid this since this is the 1st day

Thank you and my hair was braided straight back, then a criss cross pattern was used for the back of my head

+Tiffy B I honestly love the hair, the only thing I'm not so used to is the synthetic hair I'm used to having human hair and being able to comb through it. I am in week 3 of this style and it is a bit tangled but I am still able to rock it and achieve a natural look. My stylist cut the hair into layers but didn't cut too much off

Would this be a good style for a vacation? I am looking for a protective style that is not braids that I would be able to get wet (beach, pool, humid weather)??
Yes, definitely! I washed this hair several times, although I was not able to test the hair out in the pool, it held up fine once it was washed
I love this hairstyle and the length is EVERYTHING! Question; do the knots slide out easily? Especially when you have to comb your fingers through.
Hey love, the knots do NOT slide out easily they actually begin to tangle slightly by the knots which prevents them from sliding out

Beautiful!! Can you wash this hair ???because I tend to use the senegalese crochet braids and the first time I washed them my hair parted greatly and the cornrows holding my hair collapsed because my hair is permed.
+exoticsweetness Oh no thats terrible, but you can definitely wash this hair. While having them installed I washed the hair twice, trying not to wet my braids

Well...I answered my own question...the Glance model model Bahamas curl brand texture is very different from the Outre/Xpression Bahamas brand. Outre is much shinier and not frizzy.

Which hair do think is better to use FreeTress or Outre.. I know you used both. I'd love you to her what you think.

Angel 5 Hey, no it would be around the same length. I've cut mine many times and it's always been this length. When I want it longer I don't cut the pack in half and just trim it when I'm done

The hair is a bit tangly, but that's given over time. For the most part it is extremely manageable

Did you pull the hair apart because on the Model it looks like a jerri curl.

Amber how has the hair behaved over time? I have Outre Kinky curl in now and that pattern has lasted me about 7 week with maintenance. I'd like to try this pattern next.
+terrijude The hair behaved extremely well over time, there wasn't too much shedding and it did tangle a bit but it lasted me a month and I could have left it in longer, but I wanted to let my own hair breathe a bit

you really sold me on this hair. I brought 4 packs, cut it in half and split the strand in two. it ended up looking like a curly bush...nothing like yours. did you split the hair or leave it?
I had the Xpressions Hair and it was bushy at first until I took some out. I used mouse to tame it. I wear a bonnet and it tamed it.
