@@auslifeandy ah awesome work! They definitely love a tail hit! I've found more interest in the 9 than the 7’s myself in their. 9 in the redfin pattern 👌 hookup rate not the best but heaps of interest. Thinking I need to much around with a stinger setup.
Thanks for this, is that near the inlet at all?? I use the Jackal Chibitarel but haven't had any luck with that. Mainly near the inlet or from the kayak launch near the tower. I did catch one with a large soft plastic lure. I sort of lost heart when the guy I was watching caught 17 with mozarella
For happy valley size 1 stump jumper in purple. For myponga cod, bassman DT spinnerbait in black and orange
Thank you for another awesome video mate!
I caught the cod for the first time on lure JACKAL SLEEK MIKEY in Happy Valley this morning!!
That’s awesome mate !
my favourite lure for cod in adelaide would proably be 12 inch slugos or 800g jigs
😂
Get out finn
Nice one Andy. Always good to see a new video
Haven’t caught a cod yet
Enjoyed you vids
Hey mate still been fishing the happy valley reservoir?
Hey mate it’s very low atm with a lot of weed near the banks
You should give the nessies a run also. They do well in HV also 👌
Great video and nice cod 👍
Finally got one on the nessi 7” couple weeks ago after them grabbing the tail and missing the hooks on the 9” a few times !
Cheers mate 👍

Might have to, do love my tonics. Tempted by the LXDs as well
How do you treat your lures after use for rust and corrosion protection. Salt and fresh water
Fresh they just go back in the box, salt I’ll rinse the whole box of lures in warm water then dry them
Where did you catch that fish ? ( cue music)

Haha the mozzarella wins everytime but lure fishing is more rewarding to feel the bite
