Maybe Hugin is made for some game mode next season. It feels that for most of these characters that released this season, their kits are good but they just aren’t needed right now. The only one who actually has use in dream realm is Sonja. The problem is that currently dream realm/SA are the only modes that give decent rewards for account progression.
One important note is that it takes some time to return to his initial position after he is interrupted by hard CC So now we are really diving into some strategical moments in pvp if that is the case xD
He seems like a shield version of Rowan Being a single target "healer" is kinda rough especially in pvp His attack and energy buff seems interesting though 75 energy per 6s seems very minor
Kind of annoying to have Huginn release first. I really don't care to max any of the current Graveborn A-levels so I had hoped Bonnie would be released first and then have her banner expire. Oh well.
I have to roll for this hero. Kinda disappointed though, as this means we only get 1 new GB A-level hero this season, and for some reason a total of 3 new LB A-levels. We really need more of the former.
as much as it looks and sound powerful, but do we realllly need another shielder in lightbearer... like please give us Aoe Healer already... I like Hugin but I must save for next season...
Lucca is really good at tanking but that's about it, he doesn't have much damage and some middling cc. Sinbad provides some support damage and some potentially strong debuffs. Hugin will be one of the best shielders but for really only up to two heroes and his positioning is important so tailoring your team to work with him will be important. Each of them have their own applications and it will depend on where you want to use them, it'll take some experimentation to figure out where Hugin will be useful, he might be interesting with Sonja, but the problem there is how you position them and who you're buffing. As of typing this, neither Lucca or Sinbad are used for much of anything. Hugin has a chance to be used in DR but unless he does something wildly better than a current support there's not a whole lot of room for him as his shields are largely useless, so unless his attack buff turns out to be significant, we can't say for sure just yet. He might find a place in future Primal Lord/Battle Drill/Glyph Shade teams.

Isn't needed? The shield is huge, debuff immunity is huge as well, I don't see any way where that cannot be useful in pvp

You probably need to get him S+ to be great shields, but you only need one copy of Bonnie to have Bonnie’s cake. See the value 🤪

Mechanized bond does not buff ally behind him. It buffs the tile behind him. Ally should be on that tile to gain that buffs.
So is the attack buff of his ulti stackable? With 10 Secs uptime you might be able to have mutliple Ulti in that time.
You have to click the hourglass icons and show us the initial cooldowns of his abilities. The initial cooldown on that shield is important.

How do shields overwrite? Whose shield takes priority if you have multiple characters that cast shields?
Don't they stack? If I'm not wrong, Lucius can stack shields with himself in Battle Drills, and the shields have separate durations.
