I do believe that people are still delivered from demons and demonic influences to this day, however, it is through prayer, fasting and the Word of God. This guy did not use the Word of God. Demons don't fear us, they fear the Word of God and Christ's power that flows from it. This is for show and nothing more. Read mark 5 . When He told demons to be silent it tells us why, because they knew who He was and it was not yet His time.

If you cast out devils yourself you will learn you need to do the same as Paul did in acts when they were followed by the girl who had the spirit of divination in her.

this is not fake i’m 20 & i’ve been a born again believer for 2 years . i have been delivered from spirits where i was convulsing twice and for years i didn’t feel like myself, like my true self was locked away and on top of that i dealt w anger since a little girl and lust and other things . the spirits would always drive me to leave bible study or prayer nights and i couldn’t stand it when i really wanted / needed to be there to listen and take in information about how to get closer to God and how He works in our lives . if i stayed there, i got to a point where i was angry and confused and had little to no control over my feelings & i would act on them by eventually leaving or being stuck up and prideful and distracted. now that i’ve been delivered my heart feels like a soft cloud and it’s no longer hard & trapped inside of something that i don’t belong to anyways . i belong to God. after my deliverance it was the first time i experienced peace in my heart and soul. i’m more joyful and free in the Spirit now . & the girls there held me, laid hands on me, and spoke in tongues, and even anointed my forehead w oil & the evils spirits came out in Jesus’ name . i was even hissing and screeching and that’s something i do not do normally . now i’m free in Jesus name!!! they did not talk to them , but honestly i wish i knew what spirits were staying in me bc even Jesus asked and was told about Legion & there were many spirits who were driven into pigs .
and this is not everything i was going thru for years. depression & even hearing voices clearly for months .
