I have a “limbo” drawer where I put things I am thinking about decluttering. They stay in that drawer until it is either full, or I make a decision. About half the time I put stuff back in my collection. Sometimes stuff stays in the drawer for 6 months. If it is there for that long it goes out. Loved seeing your collection!

I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Narimi palettes! If I had to choose a best palette of the year, it might just be their Night Spider. At first, my favorite part of the palette was the packaging. I love when brands choose a cover that reflects the color story, and Narimi went above and beyond, extending the design to the back cover and around the mirror. The style reminds me of traditional Chinese paintings with a modern moody twist. But I was disappointed because the color story screamed Halloween and I was hoping for something more versatile. Plus, I thought I didn’t care for the long rectangular pan shape. But then I finally tried doing a look…🤯🤩😍 These mattes are the best I’ve ever tried - they’re silky and opaque, and I can blend them into oblivion and they never look muddy. Incorporating either the pastel or neon shade completely changes the tone of a look and makes the possibilities endless. And though there are only three shimmers in Night Spider, the quality is top-notch and they layer beautifully on the lid for a custom shade. I’ve since ordered two more Narimi palettes (Dead Wood and the Dusk and Dawn), and they are equally outstanding. To both my delight and dismay, I realized if I got rid of my entire eyeshadow collection except these three modestly sized palettes, I would have every shade I could ever want!

Im trying out Metamorph from Arttitude Cosmetics and Harvest of Souls of Fantasy Cosmetica, and they are gorgeous! Only downside is is my eyeballs get irritated and I get a light headache.. very strange and Im so bummed! Dont get that from other brands. Should be some ingrediënt but I dont think I Will found out which one because there are so many🫢😅

I want to try Lethal, but every time I try to log in, it says my password is wrong. I try to click change password, and it won't do anything! Maybe a glitch 🤔 Or its the universe telling me I dont need any more eyeshadow palettes. I think Melt fans are so in love with Melt from the past that they dont want to admit that their shadows are sub-par and the shimmers are so sad compared to indie (and some mainstream brands). I can say this because I own the ols school Melt stacks, which are 💣 and I have about 5 newer Melt palettes, and they suck. ❤ I dont think it's you... we are just blinded by Melt, longing for them to be better.
Pause... You might wanna try a primer that is more on the stiff side with the Melt x Bailey Sarian Fatally Yours. Same goes with Melt's formula in general imo. Something like Sigma Ignite. I would love to see your looks with this palette ❤ Ok, let's continue...
Thanks for the tip, I figured it might have been something like that. Unfortunately, the Sigma ignite primer was too dark for me, I decluttered it this year, but hopefully I can find something else.
@ashesonmylashesheathereaglen If you can find NYX eyeshadow base that's in a white jar! That's the best one so far! It's not available in EU anymore but maybe you can find it in US. Moira has also come up with jar primers. Lasting Priming Cream Shadow. I haven't tried them yet but I believe that the formula might be similar and they have white and other light tones. I hope you are able to find something that works for you!
Im a fan of indie brands but also a fan of the Pat Mcgrath holiday quints and the bigger holiday palette of this year, they are very impactful!! No crazy shifts but very impactful metallics. I like that they are on the drier side so they dont crease on me. I love different kinds of eyeshadows, my only condition is that they need to be impactful😁 I do think they are overpriced so I only pick them up on sales, on her website are sales very often.
You can’t make an opinion on the PMG formula unless you try her earlier motherships (the 10-pan black hard plastic packaging). She lost a significant number of fans from her early days with her later releases. The ones you have here aren’t representative of her at all. Have fun with them though! I’m just saying too many people don’t understand why she was so big and they try palettes that don’t reflect why we loved her. So when they try those palettes and say they still don’t understand, it’s because they’re trying palettes that we even dislike.
I wouldn’t call this a massive declutter but yes with a massive collection. It’s miss leading in my opinion. I don’t understand why influencers can’t just say what it really is, massive collection but minimal, hardly, some, etc decluttering. I understand it’s for views, likes, and comments but come on your going to get them anyway. Again this is my opinion. Oh girl you’re going to have to buy another shelve cuz more palettes will be coming out in 2025! 😂 Have an amazing 2025!

They also scammed one of their collaborators by paying them in store credit instead of actual money. I encourage people to look into this and maybe not purchase from this brand.
