I think it's going to be hard for the A-Level students in the pandemic, they'll always be the only ones who didn't have to sit exams and the schools decided the results. So there will be that bitchy 'you don't deserve it' mentality. I think your attitude is great - you know how hard you worked and no one can take that away from you.
Yeah I agree. Especially as a lot of people during school kind of play down how much they’re studying so when they get good grades it looks like they didn’t try and now with not doing the exams it can look like you were just handed them. Shame really.
Great decision taking a gap year and doing what's right for you. I went too young, changed my degree halfway through and only really enjoyed it when I did my masters degree. You can go to uni at any age - enjoy your life and do what makes you happy!💜

I just don't feel ready or mentally old enough for uni. I really love your channel I can't wait to see what you get up to!!
American here…Definitely come to the US! You will have a great time. If you are able to drive it will be a much better trip. Public transportation exists in the big cities and metro areas but you may want to drive out west and see some national parks or drive the Pacific coast. Plus, being able to stop in small towns would really give you a better sense of America. Just a suggestion but maybe apply for an internship at a US company for one of your university summers . Some of the bigger companies have really nice programs that provide housing and some weekend trips. 😊

I know it will be hard tor you, now that you have a boyfriend and jobs in London, but focus on the amazing things you are going to achieve by going.

It's not a crime but she was born into wealth that meant such grades were feasible with hard work, if a state school child had worked just as hard lack of resources and the grade algorithm would've meant lower grades. Also born into wealth that allows her to earn a London wage and not have to sacrifice a huge proportion to rent. This will then mean she's one of the uni students who doesn't have to work alongside study thus better grades there for the same amount of hard work. She genuinely has done nothing to deserve such luck.
