Hello, yes only Insights Daily CA. Just read mains topics (no notes from it from perspective of mains, only extracted few prelims information) + read facts which were given in daily CA & made notes out of it digitally. Revised from there. All the very best.
Hello ma’am! Thank you for coming up with such an elaborate and informative video. The knowledge you shared helped me reflect on my shortcomings as well. Although I’ll be giving my first attempt in the upcoming cycle but I am not very confident with my preparation which is why I was thinking of applying to a few companies next year. Could you please share insights on how you managed to make a positive use of your drop years in the resume, it would be of great help. Thank you.
Hi Ayushi. I am actually working in the ed-tech sector, I did not mention this in my resume. I felt that explicitly mentioning it was not required. Anyways, if they ask you may answer accordingly - preparing for UPSC CSE to get into the bureaucracy, which requires dedicated study & efforts. I feel so. All the very best.
I can reconnect with this video very much because i did the same mistakes in my attempts....after 5 attempt I'm not able to clear prelims now I'm in dilemma should i attempt 2025 exam or should i have to take a gap to understand whole the process in fresh mode.
I can understand. Please take some time & reflect on how you would want to go about it. Once you follow the right process from step 1 - things become easy. My best wishes.
1. Ma'am I am not able to control my mind 100 % in a day and then I feel that I am not giving my best .In a week also my consistency breaks many time what should I do? 2. Ma'am I cover very less content i .e only 2 pages in a hour but then I am able to solve question on the read content but ma'am I feel that this speed of reading is slow and even if I try to increase my speed then I feel that I had not studied it well and not able to recall it. pls tell me something regarding it
Neha, 1. It's natural sometimes to not be able to control our mind. Has happened to me as well during my preparation. Please don't judge yourself. Keep moving ahead and just complete the targets. Talking about consistency - set minimum targets and reward yourself everyday. By reward, I mean maybe something like - I'll complete 2 chapters for today + CA + newspapers + some part of optional and then watch a movie/go for a walk/call up my friend/pursue my hobby (whatever you feel like). 2. Try to cover half/full chapter now. You may feel you are unable to recollect. But I'll soon make a video how to revise. It will definitely help you. Trust me on this. You will do good.
Why did you go for a job in this attempt? Should someone who has decent monetary security go for a job too? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is your age?
I went for a job because two attempts I had given without one. I was also not willing to study full time. Needed something, so that with a fresh mind I could approach studies. Going for a job or not is your call. Think and analyse the situation, talk to your parents about it. Do what you think is right. I am 25 years old.
Hi Malathi. Check for how many hours you can give each day. Initially I could give only 3-4 hours when I started with the job. But I would make sure I study properly in whatever time I had consistently. So try to find this & study accordingly would be my suggestion. Weekends you may try to give a lot of time. I know this is hard but can study properly from let's say 9-5 & manage. Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello, Yes, you can do well in 2025 attempt. At this point, since you are unprepared for mains as you have told. You can do one thing, integrate prelims & mains together. I know it seems difficult, but the only requirement is you must be ready to give as much of your time as possible. 1. Now for the remaining days of October & entire November - do as much of mains as you can. From December onwards, Prelims + Mains will go integrated (give some time for mains everyday even if you feel tired. Make a commitment to yourself. At the end it will be easy. Provided that there is less time for mains in 2025. 3. Do not skip this attempt please - nothing can be perfect in this exam. You must learn to give your best with whatever little you know. 4.
