Ok…for everyone saying “that’s not a 10 for Haleigh” on Vault….WE KNOW! And She knows…notice how she and the team didn’t celebrate? She was embarrassed.
I don’t care she got a 10 on vault. Years ago when the double twisting yurchenko’s ware illusive in NCAA’s there were lots of crossed feet and tiny scoots like she did that got 10’s. At least her vault is perfect in the air and she’s a brilliant gymnasts and I couldn’t be happier for her. Maggie Nickles got lots of 10’s on beam she didn’t deserve either with her sickled feet and tiny bobbles. Don’t get your panties all in a bunch just let your ass hang out cause it’s a tradition in NCAA.
It’s a sport. We’re allowed to discuss it. There are entire shows dedicated to discussing other sports but in gymnastics people seem to have problems discussing things that might embarrass or upset the gymnasts. They’re athletes, it comes with the territory
Lol I didn’t say we could t discuss it. Just saying…it’s obvious. We all know it wasn’t a 10. She knows it. The team knows it. It’s just amusing to me that literally every single person said…”That wasn’t a 10.”…and yes. Yes we know. The only people who don’t know are apparently the judges. Lol

I think lsu and Haleigh Bryant are in for a rude awakening in post season. I don’t see the same quality meet going anywhere near 198 post season, nor any of Haleigh’s “10s” going anywhere close to 10 with more than 2 judges away from homecooking, worst scored meet of the season by far.
@@regardzz every team is in for a rude awakening what team do you know consistently scores 10’s in post season obviously with it being 6 judges instead of 2 scoring is going to be tougher 🤣 you sound like an lsu hater to me

Ok I was there for this on and we sat in front of the vault runway from where we were sitting it looked like hailey stuck the vault but when they played the replay on the big screen I was like “oh they’re not going to give it to her she hopped back a bit” I love hailey she is one of my faves but it wasn’t a ten but her bars and floor was well deserved from where we were sitting I couldn’t find any deductions on either her floor routine or her bar routine
Ok, Aleah Finnegan is a beautiful gymnast, no doubt, but a clear deduction bobble dropping her shoulder in acro series on beam and one judge gives her a freakin 10. HOW MUCH MORE OVERSCORED CAN THIS GET!!
I appreciate when the co-commentator actually corrects their colleague's mistake -- like saying a gymnast is somebody else for example- or what event they're on. [In this case, which gymnast was currently doing a floor routine for LSU.] I kind of hate it when the person just says nothing and changes the subject when it's obviously wrong and they know it. It's often the geriatric male commentator who doesn't really know the sport! 🤨 It was fun to see West Virginia here at LSU. They look like they have a lot of potential.
So glad LSU and Jay Clark are getting the recognition they deserve. I saw a number of comments on almost every early-to-middle season meet sh**ing on Clark, arguing he should be replaced. I'm happy to see everything come together for such a deserving team (though, I agree with most that a few of the athletes received unfairly high/perfect scores).
I've not made it to beam yet, but as far as Aleah's bar routine score, I thought it was pretty spot on. She did take a step, but otherwise was a very clean routine. Though, I will happily agree that the scoring was all over the place at this meet.
@@makenziecely so you agree with the judges blatantly ignoring errors because she’s a well known gymnast that goes to an SEC school? It was a great routine but stepping on the landing alone should have her at a 9.9 IF you’re being generous but then she also caught her deltchev with bent arms which is a .1-.3 deduction depending on how bent they are. The judges have lost it, which is why Haleigh got a 10 on vault with a hop. We’re just straight up ignoring the rules
I think haileighs vault was a shuffle of the feet but I'm no judge. I thought 9.975 for sure. Some where underscored for sure. Especially on WVU. I'm an LSU fan. No matter the sport. Everyone was good wobble or not. Can't wait for championships!!!! Go Tigers!!!!
I love LSU...but I think they are so over scored (Florida too!!). One of the judges wanted to give Aleah Finnegan a 10?? With a visible balance check after her series!! I feel like the judges hand out 10's to the big names as long as they stick the landing. And don't get me wrong-Aleah Finnegan is stunning on the beam, but I was surprised at her scored of 9.975. It's got to drive other teams crazy.
okay don’t get me wrong, i am huge fan of haleigh bryant and i LOVE HER, but her, the team, and everyone can see that wasn’t a 10 on vault. she had an obvious hop. that was a 9.95, but other than that alexis jeffery got a 9.9 on beam but to me that was easily a 10!! it was perfect!! if not definitely a 9.95-9.75, but for sure not a 9.0. perfect if not close to.
I took off a tenth in my head for being lower on the landing of Alexis's standing front, so I wasn't surprised by the 9.9! But if she fixes that I think she's easily in 10 territory 😊
I always feel bad for her on bars because she often is a bit underscored. Unfortunately, the lead off gymnast tends to be judged the harshest. I am not an expert, but it does seem as though some athletes, no matter how perfect their routine, cannot score beyond a 9.925-9.975.
@@kate9223 literally no problem at all haha but it was something i noticed. Nothing wrong with two passes. Aleah is great with either one ! It’s probably less taxing on the body anyway
