I love when people do the no line coloring. I have never tried it, but it is on my craft bucket list. Obviously you do an amazing job with any media you use. I love your explanation behind it too. This bird is beautiful. Out of the three I think I like the colored pencil one the best. That nest with those blue eggs......Gorgeous! I’m going to watch your blog for that one.
Love the robins. I have a big holly tree in my front yard. The first year I was here I wondered if there was a purpose for the lovely red berries, besides as seeds. Well God answered me - the male robins (only) came back and stripped the tree clean of every berry within 36 hours! Now I look forward to them every year. Great info on the ink. Might have to get that and stop switching back and forth. TFS
Thank you Sandy for this video. I have never heard of no-line stamps. They look like they would be wonderful to play with. I do like the idea of not having a line after you paint it. I hope to try them sometime.
WOW! Your birdie coloring is amazing!!!! I thought all the birds would be showing themselves here in Chicago but then we just GOT 2inches of SNOW today :(
You make it look so simple and relaxing. Love to watch you color, your talent just flows through your art. God has blessed you with exceptional artistic ability.
Wow! It's amazing watching you colour Sandy, how the image comes alive. I'm new to Copics and am so nervous using them, in case I ruin the stamped image( which I usually do!) Thanks so much for all your tips, you are a true artist in every way, and so generous in sharing your gifting with us all. God bless you.xx
Hi Sandi, great to see you! I could watch you all day, every day! Love all you YTs! Thanks for sharing your talent and technics with us! Another super release from Colorado Crafts, love everything!
I personally kind of wonder about the FadeOut ink. I have it & have used it. Generally, I stamp & color with it in the same crafting session. But once, I stamped with that ink, and had to leave it to color later. Well, when I came back several hours later (or maybe the next day, I forget), I could barely see the lines in the image! It had been clear, albeit light, when I stamped, but did indeed seem to have faded. So I don't know if a coloring medium, especially watercolor, traps the ink lines like it does graphite, and thereby preserves them, or if maybe this was just a fluke of sorts. At any rate, I had to restamp, and now, if I need to leave it for long before coloring, I just use a very light ink such as Simon Says Stamp Fog or Altenew Vanilla Cream. Something along those lines, anyway. Kind of weird to me. I suppose I could try experimenting with the FadeOut under similar circumstances, but I'd rather just accept my albeit-possibly-faulty conclusions and spend my time actually crafting! I love how your coloring came out, Sandy! You did a fantabulous job, especially on the robin. I wonder if you had used a different color Distress ink, if the colors wouldn't have muddied on that one. Just curious. Thank you for sharing, & have an awesome day! :)
So question - are American robins different to British robins? Because the colours on Sandy’s picture aren’t very much like the ones we see here. The shape of the bird is different too - our robins tend to be brown, white and red, and more squat and round.

You can do the technique with any stamp - it’s not hooked to a particular type of image.
You are very inspiring! The birds are just lovely! The nest with blue eggs - the blues pop out from the brown nest! 🥰
Really enjoyed your video. You make it look so easy. I would love to try it someday.
Simply beautiful!
So pretty! I think it’s a magnolia tree.

Antique Linen is the Tim Holtz ink I’ve seen used for no line coloring.
Yes I’ve tried a bunch of them 😍
Interesting
