  • Training in Toronto has been a blast! During my 2nd day there I decided to train at Warrior Muay Thai with coach Zubair Kahn and his fighters. But before I went 20+ rounds with his team, I did a short cryotherapy session to recover and re-energize.
Make sure to check out Warrior Muay Thai if you're in Toronto === www.warriormuaythai.com
Also check out Cryotherapy Health & Wellness if you're interested in speedy recovery between training sessions === cryotherapytoronto.ca
Make sure to check out the next Toronto Muay Thai Vlog where I do a strength and conditioning session with coach Geoff Girvitz and work some pads with GLORY champ Bazooka Joseph Valtellini!

    Hey Sean,
Is There any ethics in sparring, especially when you are new in the gym?
For me the sparring "intensity" depend of the partner, if he wants to go hard i go hard, if he wants to go easy and more technical i go for it... is this wrong?
Should i try to find my rhythm of sparring and stay focused no matter whom i am training with?
    Thanks man!

+Michel Athie usually I start off light whether or not someone is going hard on me to let them know I'm not there to throw bombs. After a few seconds they usually get the idea, and if not, I continue to hit lightly until they understand that I'm looking to technically spar. However, depending on the person, sometimes I'll add more power/speed to it if I feel like they can stay in control and go the same pace. But yes, every sparring partner is different so you have to adjust on the fly most of the time
