Great job on not only training your kid but actually spending time with him and investing in him. When you were showing clips of him playing against 6 year olds, I was actually surprised at how well he knew how to pace the ball while dribbling (vs. not letting the ball get away from him). You may already be doing this, but one piece of advice I'd like to offer is to have him make TONS of touches on the ball, with a combination of free roam dribbling and cone drill dribbling. One thing I like about cone drill dribbling is that it forces the player to learn how to touch the ball in order to avoid the cone, which will give them that familiarity when eluding players. More than anything though, I hope each foundation is set properly in your kid, starting from the most important before moving on the next: dribbling, passing, shooting, control, and heading. It's called the Ajax method; you should check it out. Anyways, sorry for the long rant. Best of luck to you and your kid!

I’ve seen 3 year olds doing drills and it’s perfectly fine. I started playing at unfortunately 7 but learning at a young age will be good for the boys future. He won’t get bored if he starts playing with friends and improving.
I'm training my 4 year old because he loves to play and he wants to be better at it. it is our duty as a parent to encourage and give nothing but positivity when it comes to our children.
Stop hating on the little kid, some kids at this age dont even know what a soccer ball is, and if he continues at this training rhythm, he will be more familiar with it when he is older.

great kid all the hard training is worth it... keep him busy with the tranings by the time he is 6 he is gonna be really good! he has a nice drible control for his age same thing with my kid when he was 4 he had no problem dribleling the only thing he needed a bit more speed, but we have worked on that now he is 6 and is getting there..
Obviously he's not going to be Ronaldo when he's 4 but if he keeps working like this he'll definitely be good. He'll be ahead of the game when other kids just start taking soccer serious
i like the video and i like the work ethic this little kid has but i am a football coach myself and it has been proven that kids between 4 and 10 should not train on endurance or lung capacity, in this vid u can clearly see he runs fast and quick but thats what mother nature gave him u cant train that because his body is not yet developed yet to train those muscles. i suggest u train more on his touch off the ball and his skills, like in passing a ball correctly, holding the ball long enough and pass and dribble. just my suggestion.
