That’s kinda how the perk works though, you need to get hooks in order for it to work. The faster you get hooks the more deadly it becomes. By the time these survs get a gen done all of their gen speeds are so slow and it becomes really easy to win at 4 gens

But i think you are right that on singularity it is op because of the totem defense but with other killer i think it better to go with other anti gens liké tanaphobia for killer that injure alot or juste basic things like ruin. But sure you are right for singularity (like the title Say xd)
I was like what is this build? And I was like OHHHHH it basically turns the obsession into a janitor or something, they're basically useless on gens so all they can really do is heal or look for the totem, I think? Haven't played in a bit but that's what I'm guessing.

Play with your food instead has synergy with Singularity, since everytime you stop chasing and use the biopods to check at the same time, you get the 5% speed boost. And this is huge since with 15% haste with 3% overlock mode you have 18% haste and no loop in the game can beat you, not even god pallets also with the Soma family photo addon

Survivors need to use emps more effectively. Larry is meant to be oppressive in chase, that's why he's weaker when it comes to everything else. survivors also need to use windows better as larry's power invalidates pallets much more than windows.
@Tommybotham Definitely very oppressive but Coco makes it look easy. Try it for yourself and you'll see he takes a lot to work properly. Counterplay is often up to Survivor coordination and teamwork. EMPs used by teammates can knock out a section of his biopod network and also clean slipstream to prevent overclock from mashing through resources. If you just let him use it all the time he can unironically chew through a map of pallets in like two minutes.
You need to use EMPs to cleanse biopods and under no circumstances let Larry secure a 3-gen: He will slow you to a crawl if you do, probably better than anyone else in the game.
Sadly dying light does not effect the obsession. I so wish it did and then it would actually be a useable perk and would stack with that totem perk you used.
I’m sorry, but these were some terrible matches, not worth uploading. I would rather see you playing against coordinated teams or ones that aren’t made up of disorganized randos that would get slaughtered even by perkless Hux.
Not every game is against coordinated teams. It would take an entire day to find 3 matches like that. These matches perfectly showcased the build being used.

Dying Light gives the Obsession a +33% speed at all times, and it not affected by tokens. So the Obsession is only held back by Hex: Wretched Fate.

Break line of sight of the biopods , they glow green when in use. Prep the EMP for future chases. Use EMP when any of your team are marked.
