Young Christians who are steering towards Calvinism need to hear this explanation of free will.

Doesn’t scripture say we’re all “slaves to sin” how is that free?

good point! and it is "for freedom" that Christ set us free (gal. 5:1)

My question about the free will defense of hell is if God knows a person will choose hell before hand why did he create them in the first place? Why not create a world where all eternal sinners are never created? Unless it's impossible to create a world without both kinds of people, unless Sally making the decisions that lead to salvation are contingent on the decisions that Joe made that lead to his damnation, but doesn't this make God a sort of utilitarian sacrificing the well being of the damned for the sake of the saved? You might say they deserve it as sinners, but doesn't that lead to Calvinism? God creating people without their best interest in mind, creating man at man's expense for purposes antithetical to the man's best interest?
I'm not saying I'm a universalist or a calvinist but I think the argument may end in one of those two camps.

As author and finisher of our faith, simply by withholding omniscience at the point of man's creation God determined man to what David calls hell . As subjector of all things to His will in the fullness of time 1 Corinthians 15:28 and always under His command, man has no free will (until the fullness of time and God's subjection of us)

@@itisnow Of course, God wills all men to be saved 1Timothy 2:4 and will accomplish all he wills Isaiah 46:10, Daniel 4:35, Ephesians 1:11 etc
Christ came to do God's will John 6:38 and love NEVER fails 1Corinthians 13:8
If you want to learn God's plan for all creation which he will fulfill and has already guaranteed through the precious blood of his Son checkout TH-cam channels "The total victory of Christ ' or "Tommy's truth talk " there you will find out why most bibles err in transliterating hell and eternal punishment and thus contradict themselves and make God out to partially Almighty and his Son a failure

@@itisnow Ilaria Ramelli is a brilliant scholar as of course Hart and Origen. Their concept of hell is hardly that of Western Christianity . TH-cam channels "the total victory of Christ " or 'Tommy's truth talk " both have adequate short videos explaining hell , eternal punishment, judgment/punishment, second death, lake of fire or if you wish more in depth study www. tentmaker.org
