Listening to the Land at ORFC 2025

What does it mean to Listen to the Land? How can we nurture a more reciprocal relationship with the natural world? As farmers, growers, activists and supporters of the agroecological movement, we often experience and are motivated by a heart-felt or sacred connection to the land. Yet finding ways to express this or to bring it into our day-to-day work can be challenging.
In January 2025, the Real Farming Trust (RFT), Conscious Food Systems Alliance (CoFSA) and Animate Earth hosted a day of discussion, talks and ceremony focussed on bringing this relationship to light.
