Hi, great review! I got a question, I’m shaving my head 2-3 times per week using Philips Easy Reach 180° Pro QC5580/32. The performance is ok but the quality is....not ok. I’m now choosing between the Babyliss Pro FX02 and the Andis shaver. I have seen several reviews and comparisons and the result is approximately 60/40 in favour of the Babyliss. The price is currently 165USD for the Babyliss and 135USD for the Andis. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks in advance / Robert from Sweden
@@P_Pawel Hi Pawlica! Thanks for your mail. I ended up choosing the Babyliss. As I wrote the reviews were close to 50/50 regarding performance between the devices. So in the end my decision was made based on design and material, the Babyliss is in metal and felt more robust. And I can say I’m more than satisfied. When I first got the machine it felt a little bit heavy, but after using it this is no real problem. I can highly recommend the Babyliss!! / Best regards Robert
I used the kemei 1102 for 2 years. I haven't had any problem what so ever. But just recently my younger brother copped some andis shavers. I said to let me use em on Him since I do his drop fade. And dam!!!! The andis done messed up my zero line. Lmfao!!! Respect for them andis coming from a kemei shaver!!! Yeeeeh!!
I have a pair of the original Wahl 5 star shaver shapers. They just died at the shop today after 6 years of use 😂😂 my coworker bought a five star finale (the new shaver shaper) and it later him less than a year ?!?! Anyone else seen this ?

I just purchased the babyliss shavers curbside to go at my local barber supply, is there anything I should do to them like adding oil or grease to the blades before using them on a Client??????

Hi, great review! I got a question, I’m shaving my head 2-3 times per week using Philips Easy Reach 180° Pro QC5580/32. The performance is ok but the quality is....not ok. I’m now choosing between the Babyliss Pro FX02 and the Andis shaver. I have seen several reviews and comparisons and the result is approximately 60/40 in favour of the Babyliss. The price is currently 165USD for the Babyliss and 135USD for the Andis. Which one would you recommend and why? Thanks in advance / Robert from Sweden

So in the end my decision was made based on design and material, the Babyliss is in metal and felt more robust. And I can say I’m more than satisfied. When I first got the machine it felt a little bit heavy, but after using it this is no real problem. I can highly recommend the Babyliss!! / Best regards Robert
I used the kemei 1102 for 2 years. I haven't had any problem what so ever. But just recently my younger brother copped some andis shavers. I said to let me use em on Him since I do his drop fade. And dam!!!! The andis done messed up my zero line. Lmfao!!! Respect for them andis coming from a kemei shaver!!! Yeeeeh!!

Didn’t knew they use foil shavers in the US. In Germany, they always use a blade or the tool for cutting the top hair (is it called hair clipper?)
It depends on the barber. Old school uses blades but being as though foil shavers are faster and safer barbers tend to use both.

Foil shavers are the closest shave from an electric razor.. if you want closer, then use an actual razor with shaving cream
