I can clearly see in this video that you combined many shots from different flights. Usually I upload my videos after each flight. However I can't compare my work to yours, which is way better. I think a lot of people forget that Taiwanese cities were developed very differently from the shiny new Chinese megacities. If I remember correctly a lot of these buildings were built rapidly after the civil war and so their main concern at the time was not to carefully plan and build a beautiful city but rather to house people as quickly as they can. Nowadays, Taiwan is changing and there have been new buildings that are being built that have taken design into much consideration. That being said, although Taiwan may not be the most beautiful city from an aerial point of view, the real beauty of Taiwan is found in the streets where the people's kindness and authenticity really illuminates the city. 我覺得在下面很多在留言的人沒有好好想想台灣城市和中國城市的歷史的區別。如果我沒記錯的話 台灣很多城市是因為1949年之後很多人大量移民到台灣。所以他們在當時主要的目標不是小心翼翼的設計美麗的大樓而是趕緊蓋房子給這些人住。 台灣其實也跟著時代在改 你看信義區就可以知道 台北也有很美很現代的大樓。 總而言之 我覺得台北最美的不是它的大樓而是它友善的心。

Haoqiu Liang US and Puerto Rico is same in sovereign but different in culture. Whereas China and Taiwan are same in culture but different in sovereignty. Since the PRC doesn’t control Taiwan currently and just “claims” it, I will consider it a separate country. It’s my opinion and I don’t want to debate with you because you will not change my mind. End of discussion.

Taipei a great city, wonderful people, innovative technology, and vibrant economy. Our housing price is always quite pricey, but Canada, BC, Vancouver is a great city to live in. We can learn a lot from Taipei. It is worth to strive for to make money, serve the society, and buy a property for yourself. Dream for yourself and your family. Let's not complain, but work hard and seek for opportunities.

Thanks for the input! The video is way too fast to write about the specific locations, But I will come up with mixed videos (ground footage + drone material), which are way slower and focus on specific places visited. There I will mention the places names.

This is uncertain because if China ‘a economy keeps on growing, Taiwan will be pulled close to the mainland without military conflict. Since Taiwan needs to sell goods to Mainland, it is politically independent, but if its economy becomes insignificant, it will need to compromise with the mainland or else it collapses.
This guy has the whole world on a hardrive at home.. modern day library with memories that will be accessible till the end of his last day. Considering these Corona times I must say I hate you in a good way!

Hi! Laws are relaxed. Obey the rules within the cities (away from airports etc.), e.g. Taipei has a no fly zone. Best is to check the DJI map for this. Besides, no permits needed. Happy flying!

I have to disappoint you - I was paying respect (as always) to all laws which were existing at time of flying. I know, rules changed meanwhile and there is a no flight zone within TPE city center, which reaches out over the rivers as well. Wasn't the case 2016 (just staying away from Songshan at an appropriate distance). Love Taiwan, lived there for several months and glad when people like to see Taipei's city. More videos about that most beautiful island coming up (having around 600GB 4K on hard drive). Cheers!

I can clearly see in this video that you combined many shots from different flights. Usually I upload my videos after each flight. However I can't compare my work to yours, which is way better. I think a lot of people forget that Taiwanese cities were developed very differently from the shiny new Chinese megacities. If I remember correctly a lot of these buildings were built rapidly after the civil war and so their main concern at the time was not to carefully plan and build a beautiful city but rather to house people as quickly as they can.
Nowadays, Taiwan is changing and there have been new buildings that are being built that have taken design into much consideration.
That being said, although Taiwan may not be the most beautiful city from an aerial point of view, the real beauty of Taiwan is found in the streets where the people's kindness and authenticity really illuminates the city.
我覺得在下面很多在留言的人沒有好好想想台灣城市和中國城市的歷史的區別。如果我沒記錯的話 台灣很多城市是因為1949年之後很多人大量移民到台灣。所以他們在當時主要的目標不是小心翼翼的設計美麗的大樓而是趕緊蓋房子給這些人住。
台灣其實也跟著時代在改 你看信義區就可以知道 台北也有很美很現代的大樓。
總而言之 我覺得台北最美的不是它的大樓而是它友善的心。

Taipei a great city, wonderful people, innovative technology, and vibrant economy. Our housing price is always quite pricey, but Canada, BC, Vancouver is a great city to live in. We can learn a lot from Taipei. It is worth to strive for to make money, serve the society, and buy a property for yourself. Dream for yourself and your family. 我覺得台北的生活機能、交通、流行、娛樂、商圈等都是相當不錯的，唯一的缺點可能就是天際線相較於大陸或是其他國家大城市來說遜色很多，能放上檯面的摩天大樓好像就101跟南山。話雖如此，直到上大學前都住在台南的我第一次看到信義區還是被驚艷到了，畢竟台南能稱得上大樓的好像也就香格里拉飯店ಠ_ಠ 。
我上google查了下資料，台北跟新北的大樓數量其實不少，如果這些大樓全部規劃在信義區及其周圍的話，整個CBD的景觀應該會更好看許多。
然後我自己有一個算是比較天真的想法，也好像不能直接這樣來比較，就是像北上廣深這種大都市人口動輒一兩千萬，而台北、新北、台中、高雄一個城市人口就差不多兩三百萬，如果將這四個城市加起來看作一個1000萬人口的大城市，這四個城市的所有大樓也全部聚集起來，所形成的建築群也是相當可觀的。當然直接這樣算的話是蠻狹隘的，可能還要考慮到許多經濟、產業等因素，且拿香港來比較的話，香港的人口應該差不多等於雙北，城市景觀就差很多

This is uncertain because if China ‘a economy keeps on growing, Taiwan will be pulled close to the mainland without military conflict. Since Taiwan needs to sell goods to Mainland, it is politically independent, but if its economy becomes insignificant, it will need to compromise with the mainland or else it collapses.
Taiwan is not a independant country it is a part of Chinese Republic

Hi! Laws are relaxed. Obey the rules within the cities (away from airports etc.), e.g. Taipei has a no fly zone. Best is to check the DJI map for this. Besides, no permits needed. Happy flying!

I have to disappoint you - I was paying respect (as always) to all laws which were existing at time of flying. I know, rules changed meanwhile and there is a no flight zone within TPE city center, which reaches out over the rivers as well. Wasn't the case 2016 (just staying away from Songshan at an appropriate distance). Love Taiwan, lived there for several months and glad when people like to see Taipei's city. More videos about that most beautiful island coming up (having around 600GB 4K on hard drive). Cheers!

Awesome video! Curious if you had to contact any officials to get permission to fly in the city? Trying to fly myself when I go visit, but hesitant to do so if I get caught.
