I m in final year of my graduation doing political science honours This video is really helpful to me, in Indian political thought subject. Please cover all the topics of Indian political thought including raja ram mohan roy and secularism of Nehru. Thankyou. Great work🙂🙌
Born on 7th May 1961 in Calcutta and went to England in 1878 for studying law but lack of interest started to study English and went back to India in 1880. He got the award knighthood from George king 5 but he renounced it in 1919 for jallianwala bagh incident. His idea of nationalism is not a country based nationalism but he focused on cosmopolitan nationalism. Independence is not only political but also at the individual level and till infinity. He criticised Gandhi for charkha and caste system and supported cooperative farming and no division of labour on caste but skills. A summary of Tagore just to remember. Thank you sir
No he had never criticised the caste system. Yeah he was against the caste inequality. Like Gandhi he was a big critic of modern industrial civilisation & nation state.
Thank you so much sir apki videos bht useful h ..meko almost 1 month baad itna acha or useful channel mila ...esa lgta h ki video sunne me baad bs revision chahiye sb easy lg rha h sir ..
In 2004, Rabindranath Tagore's 1913 Nobel prize medal was stolen. In 2016, a local singer accused of sheltering the thieves was arrested, but the medal could not be recovered. Interrogation revealed that a Bangaldeshi national, along with two Europeans, were involved in the theft.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy will not be covered as it's not part of NET syllabus but yes I will cover Nehru
Yes I am also
It would be very useful if you could make a video to show the relevance of Rabindranath Tagore's nationalism today.

Gandhi mein traditional egotism tha👏👏
Rabindranath thakur never called "mahatma" to mohandas gandhi...An ayurbabid organization of gujrat called him "mahatma" for the first time...
