The Dali Adventure
Salvador Dali was personal friends with A. Reynolds and Eleanor Morse and they became the largest private collectors of Dali Artwork. This private collection is housed today in the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL and this documentary tells how this came to be.
This 1991 documentary produced by Caren Hunter, directed by Stephen H. Prescott is told through the eyes of the Morse's and their recollections of the 40 year friendship with the genius painter Dali and his wife Gala.
If anyone is a Dali fan then this will surely tell them much about Dali that few ever really knew.

Excellent video. I didn't know anything about these wonderful people and their relationship with Dali. Amazing is all I have to say about the man and his fantastic artistic legacy. There is just nobody like him, before or since, and there never will be again.

What cool couple and amazing life they led in pursuit of Dali. Of course, their endeavor was only possible by virtue of their privileged status. Still it is highly commendable that they dedicated their efforts and money in said pursuit. They both are very intelligent and sophisticated.

They were delightful to work with and learn an interesting part of art history. Dali who forever changed the art world had no bigger fans than these two. They all changed one another’s lives in profound ways. Looking at this documentary now, I have so many more questions.

You could learn so much from Mr. Reynolds one of the greatest experts on Dali ever, Mr. Morse is not a comedian.
