If one terminal of the line lies in the top with code (1000) and other in right with code (0010) then logical AND operation gives result (0000) which means it should have some visible part but the line is totally outside the window. Then what's the alternative to solve that?
@Amit if logical AND Is not equal to "0000" then that means it is completely outside and if "0000" that means it is clipping candidate means partial inside
line: start point: (4,9) end point:(11,2) . rectangle: left-top:(1,5) right-bottom:(7,1) . so tbrl start is 1000 and tbrl end is 0010 now after boolean and operations we get 0000 , but line is not intersecting . am i missing something ?
Same doubt. We can proceed with finding intersecting points and updating the endpoints and region codes. It gives the correct answer after the second iteration of the loop. Still one doubt though, what will be region codes for points on the boundaries . Thanks
