sad the netflix marvel stuff has finished , but loved rewatching Daredevil and the punisher with your reactions as i love both shows . hoping peaky blinders is up next as it another of my favourites but we will see if it wins i guess
They were going to screw the pooch on Born Again until the strike. They said that Feige scrapped the first nine episodes and got the Punisher showrunner. There is hope
I love both of these seasons personally. Definitely one of my favorite comic book shows as well. One of the things that the defenders saga does right, is how fleshed out the side characters are. It definitely will feel different seeing Matt and Frank return without Karen, Foggy, Curt, and Madoni. Overall after seeing a lot of these Disney plus marvel shows, it makes me miss these nextlix shows.
I don't think I would have enjoyed the season nearly as much if they hadn't had the two plots running simultaneously. If the two plots weren't running at the same time, it would have dragged, I think...AND we would have missed out on things like the hospital ep...if Pilgrim had already been dealt with, there wouldn't have been a bounty out on them, so the cop who showed up to kill Frank and then attacked Amy would not have been there to snap Frank out of his funk and give him a reason to escape...because I'm not sure Karen and Madani just telling him he didn't kill the women would have given him the push to escape...nor do I think that Madani would have helped him escape if there wasn't a potential for him to be killed at any moment by some cop who was looking for a payday. I'd have put Mahoney on A, personally. He had some solid scenes with Madani, especially. More integral to the plot than Jake, for sure. I'd have put him on C since he really didn't add much to anything other than introducing Billy to some people that he might have met anyway if he had just stayed hanging around the bar.
I don't know how this can be your second favorite comic book show, The Punisher is not in the top 10 comic book shows. The cinematography in this show is not that good, the best aspect is the acting and writing in the first season carried by the leads. In the second season, it has so much filler, a lack of focus, and loose ends, the pacing isn't great either. Amy, Krista, and Madani's writing and acting take a lot of points in this season, even Billy and Pilgrim. If I had to do a ranking and rating of superhero comic book TV shows, it would be: 1. Daredevil (9.5/10) 2. Agents of Shield (9/10) 3. The Boys (9/10) 4. Watchmen (9/10) 5. Legion (9/10) 6. Invincible (9/10) When it has more seasons, it will probably be a 10/10 and the best comic book TV show because the Invincible comics are some of the best. 7. Loki (8.5/10) 8. Peacemaker (8.5/10) 9. The Sandman (8.5/10) And after those, the 10th place maybe The Punisher gets an 8/10 only thanks to season 1, but you can argue that Superman and Lois and Doom Patrol is better than The Punisher. And I don’t even have Batman, X-Men, Justice League, Spider-Man, etc, animated series because I don’t remember enough about them, so I just rank the most recent ones, but The Punisher is not even close to top 10 comic book tv shows. If it was S1 only, then it would be in the top eight, but because of S2 it looses to much points.

And also, I do voice-over videos on my other channel pretty often and I usually do talk closer to it for those. I just don't want to do that for reactions because then my face would be covered by the microphone.

Frank and Amy’s storylines always get me, Jon is such a titan level performer. Can’t wait to see what they do with frank in the MCU.

I loved this season, I think it's just as good as the first one. I'll never forgive disney for buying everything and cancelling this.
