I will try this minus the chillies overkill. 4 types of chillies is a bit much. I think 2 should suffice and allow the flavours to permeate. Thank you.
Hi! For vegetarian, You can omit the fish and just use potato as it is and for breading skip the eggs and make a thin batter using fying flour. Dip in the chilled potato Cutlet and coat with breadcrumbs orr Stay tuned in the future for the vege version recipe 😄
Hi! Sure but air frying does well too since the mixture is already cooked. It just needs a quick heat-up to get a crispier outer and softer interior. Hope this helps you out.
Hi! You can use a thin flour batter. A cup of frying flour with 3/4 cup of Milk or water. Dip the chilled cutlets in the mixture and then coat it in the bread crumbs thoroughly. Hope this helps you out.
Sorry to tell, please do not do this. Its gonna smell very bad & the masala powders are raw. Can get stomach ache. First put little oil & roast the onions, masala powders & mackerel fish till raw smell goes away. Then mix with boiled potato. Make urundai & fry. Will definitely taste great. உங்கள் பொருட்கள் சரியாக இருக்கு ஆனால் செயமுறை தவறு.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, your method of cooking is acceptable but it's not necessarily can cause tummy ache if followed as per the video instructions. The fish used in this recipe was canned fish, meaning it was already cooked not raw and it was even retorted. The canned fish can be eaten out of the can even without re-heating it because of the processed nature. You can also use raw fish flesh to make the cutlet because at the end we're going to deep fry it and within the heat it's going be fully cooked. Fish generally cooks faster even in slow heat so it's save to use either way. Moreover, the masala powders used in the cutlet will be fully cooked during the deep-frying process. All masala powders are save to consume as it was already roasted in high heat before finely grinding them. Generally we cook mixtures like curry, stir-fry, cutlet in use of masala powders just to remove the raw smell and turn it into a wonderful aroma/fragrant. That's simply it 🥰
