In our last episode we were heading North East away from Norway across the border into Sweden. In this episode we begin our journey North through Sweden toward a small town called Asele that we visited back in 2016. We have been living in the Jeep for four months and our setup is running like clockwork. Hopefully we can find somewhere to rent temporarily in Sweden which we discover if living here permanently is a real possibility. Thanks for watching!
Hi Mike and Megan. I just finished watching episode 9 from your 2018-series. Last week I have watched your solo winter-series 2022 and 2023 and asked myself how you got to Sweden and how your wife would be. I liked watching your solo-series for hours without getting bored from your "monotone voice" 🤣And these 2018-episodes with the two of you are even better. The story about your proposal came from the heart and grabbed me. I hope to find more episodes about your live in Sweden. Have a good 2024 🙂
Thanks for watching the journey! It was a pretty special time of our life and we would love to do something similar again one day. Perhaps with our little boy next time!
Haha The Predator is one of my favorite movies and I have owned a XJ 4.0 while I lived in Lapland Sweden. Great content and please keep em coming. Both vehicle customizing and Predator references🤓👍
Living The Dream, I've started watching some of your previous videos for the 2nd time, I followed your 1st videos when you were building the Cherokee then watched you & Megan travel across Europe, not many women would just take off on a journey that most every outdoorsman dreams of doing, she is a real sport, you met your soulmate when you two found each other, good luck in the future and I wish all the best for the both of you, looking forward to seeing some more camping trips in the Cherokee ✌🏼️🇺🇸
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Megan's certainly a trooper when it comes to the outdoors, it was great to be able to share the dream I had with her. She seemed to embrace it. Maybe we can do it again one day but I think smaller adventures in the meantime! Thanks again from the both of us!
The quality of prose associated with this Jeep, and the culture in general, is so refreshing. No surprise-that across the pond, these endeavors are executed and spoken of so elegantly! Wonderful content, and highly-motivating in creating a similar exploration series for the California Coast/Mountains.
I share your passion for the Xj. Which is how I found your videos. I watched the whole series and yes I did enjoy it to the fullest. Love your poetic mimute by minute detailed description of your entire trip. I would bet that if the television networks could see these videos they would hire you for documentaries. Very much looking forward to much more. PS Love Megan's cooking. I can only imagine the taste. Can she privide recipes?
I'm Shane from America and very glad to have found your channel this was an enjoyable series to watch I hated to see it come to end l!! Best of luck and GOD BLESS YOU GUYS. I'll tune in to your other channel.
I really like your documentary style. It’s nice to not have royalty free music montages every 2 minutes. Really hoping your channel takes off and is shared with the masses.
Absolutely love your channel. Question: what brand is your roof platform rack? I was thinking of building a custom one for my rooftop tent, but yours looks fantastic.
I picked it up off of ebay UK. A guy makes them in the UK for around £325. Its a good bumper, 6mm and 4mm steel. www.ebay.co.uk/usr/benek-36 That's the guy. If you check his shop from time to time he makes them in batches of ten,
