As an O's fan, the biggest name missing was D.L. Hall. Consensus #3 prospect for the O's but while he has dropped in a lot of rankings, he's still been in that 70-80 range on Pipeline and BA's most recent lists. The injuries and control are a concern but they all agree he has #3, if not #2 pitcher type stuff when he is on the money.

As a tigers fan I actually agree with Greene being above torkelson. Greene is a more complete player. He steals bases, hits for power and contact, and he has a higher BA. No power, doesn't draw walks against advanced competition, strikes out too much for someone with no power... I think he's a backup SS at best. These are preseason Rankings so I wouldn’t Look too much into them until a few months into the season (June/early July) By mid season rankings 20 to 25 of these guys likely not be on the rankings due to either being in the majors or just not cutting it this year they just fall out of the rankings

It's funny how many guys he would rank lower. Basically his list would just not have 15-40 because everyone gets bumped down.
Does he realize if you move down this many guys and not move anyone up that eventually you'll have to move guys back up?

Lewis hasn't played since 2019, and even then his numbers in A+ and AA were atrocious. The only thing he has going for him is a great 22 game stretch in the Arizona Fall League.

Some odd rankings for sure. Julio no doubt belongs in the top 3, especially considering his write up. Now, if he had mentioned one of Julio's weaknesses as a reason to make him lower, at least it would make sense. I looked at Fangraphs top 100 from last year, and they weren't as high on his hit tool as the rest of the industry. And he was further down than most publications. What I saw, which creates some risk for Julio, was the fact that he had a really high ground ball rate throughout the minors. Now, he can adjust to get a little more loft, but it's not a given. Some players have been able to, and others have not.

I HONESTLY BELIEVE that Law looked at the stats for the wrong Gabe Arias. The fact that he left off Arias is baffling, but he says it’s because Arias is likely to be a “.300-ish OBP guy”, but Arias had a .348 OBP in a FULL year at AAA, and over .800 OPS!!! I mean, how does that equate to a .300 OBP in the majors? I mean, Arias had some pitch recognition issues in his first pro year in SDs system, but he was a TEENAGER, and those days are long gone! I really don’t have a clue how Law took Arias, who was in his top 50 last spring, and moved him out of the top of 100 after a year where he MASHED at AAA. I actually think Arias will win the SS or 2B job for cleveland coming out of spring training… he would have last year if he was actually a real candidate, as he outperformed both Amed Rosario and Andres Gimenez in spring training. Law is off his rocker.
