Just recently resumed doing my hair myself after years of salon abuse. Easy style, I’m going to do it every 2 weeks, take it down to wash and do it again until I get back in my groove 😁. Emena nwannem 🤣🤣

Hello dear. Like many women my age (the other side of 45, cough), I only started learning about my natural hair in my late 30s. I struggled with gel down buns for ages until I came across your videos. As with most black women my age, our edges thin out the more we braid and cornrow. I am now getting to love my natural hair more and more. Thanks so much for these videos. I have learnt so much.

@@rosecreech1952 I did a more mature variation of it as a professional bun. I was actually referring toher gel technique, which worked for the first time for me. I have never been able to slick my hair back
Nkonye Oyewusi thank you for your response and I’m glad you’re embracing your natural hair. If your still looking for a gel try the gorilla Snot in the purple bottle. It will have your edges laid for days unless you sweat frequently
