Update * it’s been over a year since I changed the IAC valve. The boat has been running great and there have been no issues whatsoever. Thank you for the thumbs up. Please follow my page and leave a comment if you have any questions. Thank you
I loved the video. My favorite part was the BEEP BEEP part. No, but for real. Those 350's sound good in the Donzi. I have them in my 280 Formula. It sounds like you have the through hull on it. Like the rumble!
thanks brother for posting such a clear and concise video on this.. appreciate your efforts. had the beeping on my 350 mag yesterday, now i know what to look for.
Great video thank you! Had the beeping start last weekend. Also noticed I had to throttle up a little on that engine to get it to start so I’ll replace this valve and see if that does the trick. Quite a price difference between the IAC from Wesr Marine ($148) and Amazon ($27). Where did you get yours?
Thank you. Sorry for the late reply. I’m glad that the video helped. I got mine at a local Marine supplier. They had the part at the store. I don’t remember what I paid
Don’t forget get to change out your IAC filter in the Carburetor. $2.50 for two from Mercury dealer. It’s a thumb nail size white filter. Long nose pliers to remove and install.
Replace crank shaft sencer and turn distributor just a little to advance and check spark plugs and clean distributor cap inside at the points and rotor and happy boating
I was told it was normal and it just takes it a few seconds to figure out what the air temp is and such and it runs off the map values of the last time it was ran.
I got the part at my local marine supplier. The place is called Fred Chall marine supply. It’s in Freeport, Long Island. I don’t have the part number offhand, but if you call them, they’ll be able to tell you over the phone.

awesome tip,i have same engine and it's good to know about this,,thanks for sharing this buddy 👍🏻👊
Appreciate it. I believe we have the same boat. I've got a 2005. I put a closed cooling system on mine.
That’s awesome. I love this boat. I’m actually thinking about selling it. What is the closed cooling system and how does it work?

sweet. thank you for the info
Nice job 👍
Did you have to clear any codes after replacing the IAC valve, and if so how did you do that?
To be honest, I didn’t check for any codes. Everything seems to be great and working as it should it now
You’re a mechanic that redid the engines was he a backyard Mechanic or was he a certified shop?
certified shop and marina
Does your engine hunt back and forth on a cold start for the first 10 seconds or so before smoothing out? Wonder if my iac is getting lazy
It did a little bit. Now it’s good. Make sure your batteries are good and charged as well.
@amendolarestudios5276 well I mean mine has always done it really since it was brand new

Where did you get your part from? And are you able to share the part number?

Do you remember where you bought the part? Can’t seem to find it
