- In this video we will be seeing how much GD 1.0 to 2.1 has changed over the last years & we look into the features and its UI on how it used to look back in 2013, pretty much the game used to get a lot of updates before and it changed since geometry dash 2.0 came out and to 2.1. We are still on 2.11 to this day and its been 6 years since we got any major updates and 2.2 is still on work by Robtop, hopefully we get the update out soon!

So the Auto Checkpoint button from the how to play screen WAS used in 1.0! That's interesting. I wonder what the editor guide was doing in the pause menu though lol
I kind of hope Rob adds the 1.0 ship back, even tho its kinda boring I like that it has shadows and depth even if it's just one color
Honestly, yeah, there were so many changes made with the amount of update, and the ship having that shadow was great, not much of an impact, but it was nice while it lasted since that shadow was removed when unlockable ships was added on 1.4. It added in more effect, tho.

Yeah, if they can add the default mini icon as an option, this should also get in.
Another thing: In 1.0, the Cube used to have a Green Pulse Effect when you go though it. This was later removed.

I remember the first time I played Geometry Dash Lite, it only had Stereo Madness until Xstep. I love how Geometry Dash evolved, even the levels improved, specially the easy rated recent levels!
I remember when it only had levels up to Time Machine. And when I beat the whole game, I thought I was the best player in the world

when i was a kid i begged my brother to beat can't let go because i wanted to get the "cool hacker icon" (iykyk) and when he died at 95% he refused to keep playing and I literally bawled my eyes out
My nostalgic "Final level" Was Electroman Adventures, It just just felt so good to play it for some reason

A thing I noticed when watching the game play at 1:07 was that the cube seemed to snap into place when landing after a jump then it normally does.
yeah, that was because GD 1.0 had different physics than 2.1

@SillyFurcorn Clock pretty hard, people would have eventually beaten it, but the constant speed portals and the difficulty would've taken some time
It would have been a Extreme Demon if Deadlocked and Demon Types existed in 1.0

Well, I agree on this, Robtop's own difficulty rating sucks sometimes, and that was before 1.9 when the ratings used to be like this, and yeah, I'd say can't let go isn't really a hard difficultly since lot of new people can't most likely get used to the upside down part of the level since its pretty hard for them.
@@dlovansl2 can't let go is just like electroman adventures/theory of everything. Basically it's difficult when you first started but once you are a veteran at the game it just feels very easy. Clutterfunk, time machine and cycles even xstep are the same.

Once I tried my hardest to beat all levels except some harder ones, insane ones, and demon ones
I saw that geometry dash has released the swingcopter,jetpack,versus,the map and more

Technicly, 1.0 is so boring because We don't get secret coins, stars or Mana orbs but 2.1 is so much fun because we get secret coins, stars and orbs. I do not understand why the 1.0 way has the levels having stereo madness easy, back on track normal, Polargeist hard, Dryout harder and base after base, can't let go and jumper are insane mode. Thanks to Robtop making each level have a group so the level is the way it is today!

the levels had different difficulties because there werent a lot of them, so you didnt have a lot of stuff to compare
