as an amateur producer that is now getting into dj-ing and not sure i wanna keep at it, but I ALREADY have a big-ass 20 output soundcard, i felt this was a good deal. It remains to be seen when it arrives.

hey dude, love your videos! i have a question i cant seem to find the answer to on google or anything. i was curious, second hand rekordbox dj contollers, with the registration keys, are they a one time use thing, is it like per controller, once its registered, its registered for life no matter the user?? just curious cause thats whats keeping me from getting a used one. (not stand alone)

Lets say I'm using a phone and an external sound card(soundblasterX g6). The DDJ is connected to the Phone and the phone(android) is connected to the Soundcard via 3.5 to 3.5 mm through line in.
There is a headphone out 3.5mm and a opt/line out 3.5mm. And I plugged my headphone to the headphone out and speakers to the opt/line out.
Would the headphone mix Control Understand the signal and let me control on the DDJ 200?

You can use it with recordbox on pc and it comes with a key for it.

How many bluetooth devices can you connect well using the controller & software (of choice) without any lag or issues?
For example, can I connect the controller (through bluetooth) , bluetooth headphones (to cue up the next song), bluetooth speakers (as my "mains"), as well as a bluetooth keyboard & mouse. I'll be using a Galaxy Note 9 phone, to run the software and music coming from internal sd card, or ill just streaming.
Quite a bit of lag when using Bluetooth speakers . Better to plug it in . I’m sure the same goes for Bluetooth headphones.

DDJ-200 is just a controller. If you use it on PC with rekordbox or any other software, the output depends on your settings.

Complete beginner here sorry, so with the split cable I’m guessing that you plug one of the jacks into a speaker and the other into headphones, and then you should be able to hear the second track playing through headphones while the first one is playing out the speakers? I can’t hear anything through headphones and can’t work out if it’s a problem with the splitter or if I’m not doing something right
Wrong. You're supposed to hear main sound through the speakers (mix for the audience) and cue through the headphones (to beatmatch and mix in the song, audience will not be able to hear that).

J Cottom or deck 1 if you want. Depends on which deck you want to “prelisten”.

I have 2 JBL 300 partybox’ that run can run off Bluetooth. If I’m connected via Bluetooth to the controller and my speakers simultaneously will the music just simply come through the speakers as normal?
It should work just fine. DDJ-200 is nothing more but a controller, not an audio output device like the speakers ;)
