I am a nurse so these past two years have been awful and my little boy has autism which can be extremely challenging especially over the holiday period. I’m a new subscriber, and you have to be the BEST ever thrifter to shop with! I laughed through every second of this Goodwill trip! Although, deep down, I was battling those evil green monsters Envy & Jealousy, because here in MO, Goodwills are absolutely trash! They’re filthy, usually half empty, and way too high priced! I also have to admit that I’m so old, I’ve actually lived through all the fashion “vintage” fashion trends you embraced! Your Goodwill is so much better than mine! Lol the round pink thing with little nubs is for the seats at school/home for kids. We have some in our special ed room and they help with balance and with fidgeting.

I've worked as a Thrift Store Manager for over 16 years (several yr.s ago). These videos crack me up. If you could only hear me talking to your video as it rolls out! Never leave your shopping cart unattended! And LOL at the pant situation that looked like you should have had a package up front. Try on anything you can before you hit the dressing room. Soon enough you will know (visually) if it's for you. And - the reason they announce the "closing call" is because some people never leave and the crew gets in trouble for over-time. We have found people shopping with cart loads after we shut off the lights! Was that you? LOL I love these videos! Best thing I love about shopping at the Thrift Store is Jeans! I can buy several pairs of jeans for the price of one new "Box Store"pair. Then if I get paint on them or mess them up- No biggie!
I used to thrift so much but I have really scaled back. I went to our Goodwill looking for workout wear. I found a decent pair of Xersion leggings but when I went to pick them up, I saw the price. What used to be $3.69 last summer was now $8.69! For used leggings! And they were all that price. I buy them at Penney's and get them for that or less on special and they're new. It'll be a long time before I go back.
32:39 is the matching jacket to the workout set. That pink circle thing is to put on your kids chair if they have a touch to much of hyperactivity. It allows them to move and wiggle but stay in the chair.
I love garage sales but get discouraged at the thrift stores because they can be over priced. You inspired me to go recently and I found so many awesome things with the 50% off tag too!!
Fun fact: I noticed ‘The Warrior’ playing @37:20 - and you were majorly singing along to that on the thrift adventure video I watched right before this. ✊😄 (I ♥️ the cheesy “adult contemporary” music they play in stores. It sure takes me back… 😌🙃)
What I would give to be able to shop at Thrift stores. In my area of NONE, it’s impossible. We only have one store in my town that even has clothes, and it’s an old fashioned Walmart that was built in 1980! No super store and very very small. The closest thrift store to me is probably around 35 miles. And when you work 12 hours a day it’s impossible to go there. You sure do make these videos awesome and fun! Thanks Kim!!!
