#21 If your partner is snoring, please wake them before giving them water! #11 My dad, a nurse, told me that in cases involving the cold, you're not dead until you're warm and dead.
@charlesdudemandude3554 Yes, the way he explained it is that when someone becomes too cold, the body tries to protect itself, shutting circulation to extremities, and slowing as much as possible to preserve life. So body is cold to touch, skin pale, lips blue/grey, and pulse too slow/faint to feel.

Yeah, I can understand that feeling of so much mucus being produced by our bodies every day, even though it does sound gross. I mean, no wonder anytime we sneeze because maybe we’re allergic to a certain food or something at any given point in our lives, I can see how that would make sense that our bodies are doing us a favor by cleaning our noses and throats, for instance, of whatever harmful bacteria inside us we may have that’s probably otherwise making us feel sick.
That 911 fact, it was part commitment to work, but at first, they didn't want everybody to rush out, people were told to stay. How many would've abandoned the work, if they weren't told to stay?

It is still used in veterinary medicine for dogs with CHF. Its hilarious when owners call after leaving with a prescription of sildenafil and are like “Why is my dog on viagra?” 😂
There's a curious fact about patenting medicines. The patent is good for only sixteen years, much of which is spent gaining official approval for the medicine; BUT, if another use for the medicine is discovered, it can be patented as a "new" medicine. The current use for Viagra was a side effect of the aforementioned high blood pressure medicine.
It's hilarious to see depictions of young Jesus wearing a cross. Oooh....spoiler! Crucifixion was a frequently-used Roman form of execution and punishment, so HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of men were crucified, not just that one guy. I often hear Christians talk about *"the man who died on the cross",* as if they don't know about all the others. (No women were crucified, though, it seems.) And there's a famous classical Italian painting of the Nativity scene -- and on the wall we can see a crucifix, as if Jesus and his family were Christians, not Jews. People unclear on the concept.....
First of all the selfies vs sharks thing is troubling. We need to find a way to get the sharks numbers up. Maybe genetic engineering to make them more aggressive to humans? Or equip them with special shark weapons. That should help increase shark related deaths. Second, wow the 9/11 thing. That’s some major dedication staying to properly shut down their computers n such. Kinda impressive in a way. Do wonder the thought process behind it. The very last one shocked me the most. like youd risk your own life just to shut down a computer properly or file some paper work correctly. so sad great video.
Anna Bagenholm fell through the ice & was trapped for nearly two hours before rescue. For those, like me don't think in Fahrenheit her core temperature - 56.6 F is 13.6 C, whereas normal body temperature is 38 C & above.
the one that got to me most were employees saving their work on their computer before evacuating the Twin Towers. My guess is they never considered the thought that the buildings would fall. I don't remember if the cloud existed back then.
The only question this video makes me wonder is the sanity of most humans… Dying for photos, just driving, or even because they thought their job was more important than surviving? I can’t think of any job that pays enough to do that. Now I’m curious how soon after the 9/11 attacks - or even during - did upper management begin worrying about their potentially lost data? 🙄
Life can be really weird for sure. For example, someone broke into my house last year while I was away on holiday and emptied the place... stole absolutely everything. Then before I got back home, they had replaced everything with an exact replica of what they had stolen...even the goldfish!!
@fairyprincess911 Your comment reminds me of a YT channel, his mixes (trance) are great, but he calls himself ‘The Man of No Ego’, I’ve always thought to myself that’s quite an egotistical thing to claim, lol
It's memorial day weekend and i saw several drunk drivers on my way home yesterday. I'd like to dispute the distracted driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving. Distractions last moments and typically don't lead to huge mistakes, drunkenness last the whole way home and trust me, a lot of mistakes. I saw people turning into incoming lanes against the flow of traffic, driving in the middle of the road, using turning signals for the wrong direction, constant swerving.... It was bad.
If I’m traveling with my dad, his snoring is so bad that I will rent a separate hotel room to sleep. One of my cousins does the same when traveling with my aunt.
Pine trees make paper, including toilet paper. It takes less than 18 years to harvest. Young pine trees produce high amounts of oxygen. Mature pine trees produce significantly less oxygen.
Number 18. I see why on the Big Bang Theory: when anyone was going thru something or a hardship: Sheldon would always offer them a hot tea because of that fact.
8:40 Paying attention to your driving is impossible while doing something else! Multi-tasking... (unless chewing gum and walking), and doing it responsibly is not possible.
You said that "90% of survivors stayed up to a half-hour later to save their work at a time when ..." It sounds like ALL of the survivors should have stayed. Does that mean the people who died left the buildings early? Very confusing.

The "lean to the right" kiss is interesting, because I've noticed in a lot of films that the actors tilt their head to the left when kissing. Maybe the directors think it makes a better visual from the viewer's perspective?
Can you imagine, Tom dies because Bob on a lower floor had to save his work on a computer that was destroyed beyond repair, And then witnessed by Bob at a safe distance watching the computers building crumble to the ground while hearing about Tom not getting out in time?
I know Columbus didn't find America. It was a viking called Ericsson about 600 years before from Iceland. Plus he deemed it not to be worth invading. We British know all that as the vikings try to invade here.
Yes its true Vikings reached America and even set up a base. But nothing happened and they evacuated or were slaughtered by Indians.Columbus started the exploration that lead to our culture-be that a good or bad thing is questionable!
I've read that the artificial banana flavor is so strange to us now because it was developed when all bananas were pretty much one identical breed, so once a banana plague broke out, this variety of bananas died out completely and has been replaced by another branch of the banana family that tastes different from the older, now extinct variety.
Nope. Not staying to save anything work related in the event of an emergency. I once smelled natural gas on the 7th floor of the building I was in. I was down the stairs, out the door and halfway down the street and behind something that would shield me within a minute.
According to a 2022 study published in the Journal of Travel Medicine, 379 people died in selfie-related accidents between 2008 and 2021. The average age of the victims was 23, and men were about three times more likely to die than women Results: From 1998 to 2011, on average 7% of all cases reported to NPSAD had a cannabinoid detected (n = 110 deaths per year), rising to 18% in 2020 (n = 350). Death following cannabis use alone was rare (4% of cases, n = 136/3455).
I believe that using hands-free devices behind the wheel in the UK is legal BUT I also believe that if you cause an accident whilst using them, you can be prosecuted for 'lack of due care and attention'
Anyone remember the toilet paper/paper towel shortage??🤦🤔 It would have been humerus if it wasn't so aggravating. It was similar to the gas shortages as people lined up at stores much like gas stations. I heard people whisper: " I know where there's some toilet paper"
Workers in the second tower were told not to evacuate after the first tower was hit. so that's probably why they stayed and saved there work, they didn't understand what was happening and just thought it was an accident.

@7:00 12,000/27,000 oops.Bonus for coming full circle back to 27k ✌
8:40: I have never gotten into an accident whole talking on the phone when driving, but I have missed an exit from occasionally. I call this gong into "collision avoidance mode". I am still fully aware of road hazards, but my distraction de-prioritizes looking for turns I need to make.
I drive a truck for a living and the hands free fact is interesting. In some states under federal law if a truck driver is caught holding or using his PHONE it could be a felony under FMCSA. Think about that real hard a felony for doing exactly what everyone else does.
I would like to know who decided to test Viagra on a flower. Were they that bored at work?
I haven’t taken a selfie, perhaps I’d live longer.
So glad I found this channel this morning. I love facts and I have in just 3 videos in, learned a handful of new triva. Also like the realness and good voice of Mike.😊
Alright bless. Hope you all can have joy in your day.
Love yr information. Always entertaining and informative. Thank you
the one that got to me most were employees saving their work on their computer before evacuating the Twin Towers.
Absolutely Fascinating!👍🙂
10:04 lmfao! I needed some aspirin after my grams used the willow branch to whip my @$$ lol
This guy's got to be like the same age as me. 1985 He just makes sense. I like him he'd be cool to hang out with.
Proud to say I've never taken a selfie.
I’m another one who has never taken a selfie! And never will! I’m not that narcissistic!
@@sandybruce9092Making that statement negates your statement...

Your comment reminds me of a YT channel, his mixes (trance) are great, but he calls himself ‘The Man of No Ego’, I’ve always thought to myself that’s quite an egotistical thing to claim, lol
The only selfies I have taken were to set up additional security on my bank accounts.
It was bad.
hahaha, awesome video, thanks mate!
My favorite was the fact about 911 office workers saving their work. As a former medical transcriptionist I probably would have dine the same thing.
5:17 I'm right handed but I'm hard wired to go left. My brain always chooses violence
I respect and appreciate your dedication to Reeses Pieces
Hope they paid him..😳😅🤑
Number 18. I see why on the Big Bang Theory: when anyone was going thru something or a hardship: Sheldon would always offer them a hot tea because of that fact.
11:06 imma be a mature person this time and not say what went through my mind hearing her taste buds were insured 😂😂
8:40 Paying attention to your driving is impossible while doing something else! Multi-tasking...
(unless chewing gum and walking), and doing it responsibly is not possible.
@That' s why being on your phone is banned in most places, as it should be.
You said that "90% of survivors stayed up to a half-hour later to save their work at a time when ..." It sounds like ALL of the survivors should have stayed. Does that mean the people who died left the buildings early? Very confusing.
Thanks @jabberwocky8021 That confused the hell outta me. C'mon man, you've been around for a while Mike. Attention to details should already be ingrained in you. Also, 12,000/27,000? Clean it up.
No they just "left", permanently
I liked your video when u said is it worth it for a few likes but don’t forget to like this one. That made me smile 😊
You make learning fun! Great video
You’re never dead until you’re warm and dead. Have to warm to patient to say they didn’t respond to resuscitation and pronounce them
Another thing about the animal community. Cow is not the name of the animal. It's bovine.
Heffer - bovine who has not had a calf
Cow - bovine who has had a calf
Bull - male bovine
Steer - male bovine who has been castrated
Hi fellow member of the tribe! I love your work and have told many people about you you deserve it thank you
Much appreciated!
Hi Mike love your lists, funny and informative! I'm in Vancouver BC Canada 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 and trying to find your discord but the links I tapped are invalid
OMG i used to be addicted to this channel back in 2014 and i just found it again I thought it was deleted or was inactive
We changed for a bit but we're back!
The "lean to the right" kiss is interesting, because I've noticed in a lot of films that the actors tilt their head to the left when kissing. Maybe the directors think it makes a better visual from the viewer's perspective?
9:07 listening to this as i drive 😅😅
Can you imagine, Tom dies because Bob on a lower floor had to save his work on a computer that was destroyed beyond repair, And then witnessed by Bob at a safe distance watching the computers building crumble to the ground while hearing about Tom not getting out in time?
12,000 or 27,000 rolls of toilet paper? LOL!
Yup.
I was looking for this comment.
So that's why they used the 3 sea shells in demolition man to save the trees 😂
Now I want to learn about more plants with odd side affects.
That water trick really does work. Hold their head under water for 3-4 minutes, no more snoring!!!! Works every time!!!!!
I really liked this presenter - he was informative, natural, witty and FUN! GREAT presentation!
Thank you Mike for these infos. Most surprising is number 1, people staying to shut down their laptops. Unbelievable.......but true apparently.
9:16 HE MADE ME LAUGH BY LAUGHING
I know Columbus didn't find America. It was a viking called Ericsson about 600 years before from Iceland. Plus he deemed it not to be worth invading. We British know all that as the vikings try to invade here.
"Try to invade"? No they did invade and very successfully numerous times
Yes its true Vikings reached America and even set up a base. But nothing happened and they evacuated or were slaughtered by Indians.Columbus started the exploration that lead to our culture-be that a good or bad thing is questionable!
The salute thing is questionable!I saw that explanation years ago on Tennessee Tuxedo!
My Dad has been known to snore 😛 Me and my Mum once recorded him snoring to prove he couldn't deny it but he denied it anyway lol
Just over a really bad chesty cough Mike, don't ever want to think about mucus ever again!
What's more dangerous than drunk driving is the amount of people that don't pay attention to other drivers
I've read that the artificial banana flavor is so strange to us now because it was developed when all bananas were pretty much one identical breed, so once a banana plague broke out, this variety of bananas died out completely and has been replaced by another branch of the banana family that tastes different from the older, now extinct variety.
In the UK, even touching your phone whilst driving is now illegal
The average age of the victims was 23, and men were about three times more likely to die than women
Results: From 1998 to 2011, on average 7% of all cases reported to NPSAD had a cannabinoid detected (n = 110 deaths per year), rising to 18% in 2020 (n = 350). Death following cannabis use alone was rare (4% of cases, n = 136/3455).
All good thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
The mucus one 🤢🥲
I love your videos your one of the people that inspire me to start a TH-cam channel but I’m over here making excuses
Go for it!
I believe that using hands-free devices behind the wheel in the UK is legal BUT I also believe that if you cause an accident whilst using them, you can be prosecuted for 'lack of due care and attention'
Anyone remember the toilet paper/paper towel shortage??🤦🤔
It would have been humerus if it wasn't so aggravating.
It was similar to the gas shortages as people lined up at stores
much like gas stations.
I heard people whisper: " I know where there's some toilet paper"
#18- But then when it’s 💯 degrees outside give them some ice cream 🍦 and watched them get frustrated when it melts 😂
My favorite fact is the creation of this channel and the host!😉😎😘Much love💖
That Reeses shirt looks great on you
Instead of chopping trees
For toilet paper
They should use leafs
They fall everywhere
As long as you make sure it's not poison ivy or poison oak!
Thanks Mike! If you runout of pinkies you’re done pinkie swearing 😂😮
Workers in the second tower were told not to evacuate after the first tower was hit. so that's probably why they stayed and saved there work, they didn't understand what was happening and just thought it was an accident.
So glad it’s not that dog lady anymore😂
Where have you been for the last year lol
❤😊
