1971, Nov, Nicosia & Kyrenia, Cyprus

I was so jealous we weren't allowed skip school to join Mum, Dad and Elvi on this holiday to Cyprus.
Fate is kind of weird, as many decades later I got my wish.
My parents in law were posted to Nicosia (and stayed for a couple of months in the same Hilton hotel). When we visited them, as diplomats they were allowed take us into the Turkish part of the island and we visited the lovely harbour of Kyrenia, shown here in the second half of the clip.
