Jo Thompson's "Come Dance with Me" won the IAKJP award for "Best Crossover" dance. This dance was created in one genre, but made its way into the R&B/Soul Line dance genre. That being said... In the R&B/Soul line dance world it is done to Tamia's "I can't get Enough."

What😮 Who knew!U mean this Viral, Lit Hit Song & Dance was out over a decade ago 🤷🏾♀️ I thought that it recently came out in Jan 2021. Bcz thatz whn I was initially introduced to it during My Niece @Denetra Collins’ Chaptr 50 B’Earth Day Celebration. However, it took Me another 6 mos to learn it bcz of the fact that I hav discovered that the easiest & smartest way to learn, teach & create almost ALL , or better yet, ANY & ALL dances is by using the “8 Count Per Part” technique! Very few Dance Instructors understood &/or understand this, whch initially included Me when I became a Dance Director over a decade & a half yrs ago. Then abt 8 yrs ago, I was enlightened & empowered by The Gr8 I AM which is The Highest Vibrational Frequency, namely, LOVE, that the 8 Count/Ct Per Part technique is the Key to mastering/perfecting ANY & ALL Dance Steps! Thusly, I taught Myself how to best learn, teach & create ANY Dance, including this challenging “Come Dance With Me” dance, whch I & thousands, 💙❣️ 👆🏾
