This was a great video. I think you found a wonderful women, that cares for you. I was very impressed that she said if you lost all your money, she would find jobs for both of you, and you could live with her. She would help you get back on your feet. She is a keeper!
You are far from being a “passport bro”! You’re informative, highly respectful and you’ve immersed yourself in the Thai culture. You’re found yourself a wonderful lady who is super supportive of you, and you can see the respect and care is mutual. Passport bros only lead with their money abroad because they understand the power imbalance their funds hold vs in the West that power imbalance isn’t in their favor. Plus, they exploit girls and women while abroad for sport. This is not your case at all. Anyone labeling you that is ignorant.
Your labelling passport bro as men who lead with their wallet that’s entirely incorrect thats a sex tourist, passport bros seek harmony in relationships not poor women to exploit. i consider myself a passport bro and I’m dating a rich Thai girl who is richer than me, her family is owns about 500 condos here in Bangkok .. but yeah the poor Thai girl I’m exploiting right ? Your ignorant at best we just don’t like western women and there toxic attitude some of us were already desired back home and don’t lead with money at all we just know where we will be treated better
The passport bro movement only has 1 objective "Go where your treated best" Its not about women, its not about sex. Its about stretching the value of your dollar, being around good natured people, experiencing new cultures, and living your best life If you are single and end up in a relationship. That's just the cherry on top, not the whole sundae
Yeah, I think your definition of "Passport Bro" is a bit off... They're just looking for a better life with the limited funds they have, and/or are tired of western culture. Dating may also be difficult for them since many women have different values in their country of origin. Your definition is more of a "Sex Tourist" than a "Passport Bro."
Been in Thailand for a couple of months now, living here long term. Might be ready to find someone to share life with soon. Good to hear you guys dispelling some of the stereotypes and explaining the landscape a bit from different perspectives. Also, I think you found yourself a keeper, Paul. You both seem to have good attitudes.
I say it again i lived in bangkok for 6 months . You know very quilely how is in it for money . Paul girlfriend is very sweet an honest the way she speak an treat him . They being together fir 3 jrs . Enought to know . Also the way she treated his parents. She is a gem ..
Lmao passport bro thing sounds funny. Oh I remember being suggested to go cafes and things to potentially find a guy that I would be interested in, but I noticed I would most likely have to travel to be in an area where I would want to date. I can think of a couple of places to go, but they’re hours away haha. So I completely agree with the traveling thing. For me I find that I’m traveling mainly because the things that I enjoy irl that aren’t online related aren’t near where I live which really sucks. I really wish they were near where I live, but they aren’t so I have to travel hours away if I want to do these things. And for me as far as the lavish lifestyle thing I think doing that sortve thing every once in a while is nice, but not completely required I would think. As long as I could do something I enjoy as far as aerial hoop or something I would be fine lmao. I know I can find a great guy, but I am noticing I will have to most likely travel to even find him potentially.
We value a “sabai jai” approach to relationships-relaxed and flexible. As long as both people are happy, any kind of relationship is accepted, including those that challenge traditional gender norms.
That depended on many variable. I'm an Asian-American and married to Midwest all American gal for 35 yrs until she passed away due to cancer. She was great and highly educated.
woman from asia or america are similar... only difference is the culture. men from abroad definitely have an advantage because we're exotic (esp asians from abroad), and money is just assumed
I think this video sugar coats the topic quite a bit. The fact is on Thai dating sites most of the women are looking for foreigners because they have money and can offer them a better life. This should not be a surprise to anyone. Also sometimes highly educated Thai women are also looking for money even if they have a job because they might be in debt or they want to pay off a family member's debt. I know this from personal experience. Most Thai women actually prefer Thai men because of common culture, language, etc. And the smaller percentage that are looking for a farang it's for a better quality of life.
You should interview with Thai women who's married to Thai men or dating Thai men. How do they feel about dating or marrying foreigns. It's hard to get honest answers who are already dating or married to foreign.
Thanks for the video! It's really good to have your GF opinion about these stuff. Question: One question I have is do Thai girls date multiple people at once? For example, when you first started dating your GF, was she also dating other guys at he same time?
I've heard that their relationships are more intentional. In the west, we "date" but it's not like that there. And if I met one seeing many men then it's a red flag unless you want to be one of her sponsors (which is ONLY money).
Hey Paul, I was in Bangkok last week and got food poisoning (from a pizza!). It wrecked me. I'm curious, how long have you been in Bangkok and how many times have you had food poisoning? P.S. Did your girlfriend get food poisoning too that night? I assume you ate everything together.
That was too generic for my taste. I miss the Thai flavor, that could have been anywhere in the world. Your girl seems nice but she is a bit shy to bring certain truths. As a suggestion, ask someone not close to you that can be more free and open with answering. For instance I miss her position towards supporting her parents, her long term views, her idea for retirement etc. Despite my critique I still enjoy to see your story, from your perspective.
Pay me million of dollar and I still wouldn't consider eating at that restaurant. It's for show and try to impressed someone, and that's not my style. If you have gal that was into you and you too are compatibles, it doesn't matter where you go it's still going to be blast
I thought you came across very well on the documentary. Intelligent, interesting, balanced and very respectful. You aren’t at all a passport pro in my opinion.
Interesting perspective. You have a wonderful Thai girlfriend and she comes from a good place. Not all American women are the same and not all Thai women are the same. Some will take all your money and use you for money and others will not. Men who go to Thailand have a bad rep as well and it's not right to judge them for wanting to live there. I think social media has made a group of people look much more extreme than they appear to be versus what at average they are.
Shes a good girl and a good one for a foreigner but she is a sai for and not a thai thai girl i think that distiction should be made although there are many sai for and new gen farang usually choose these girls for their english speaking ability they have their drawbacks. Unless you are going to adapt to thailand by language and culture though this type of girl is optimal. Many true farang try to build something with a thai thai girl and thats where misunderstandings arise.
@@iPaulLee Good video and you have a good woman. Like the other comments said money is always important in any relationship. Just depends on each woman. I live in Las Vegas and every girl does not matter Thai or white want to know if you have money. Also, depends if you older and the girl is younger of course it is all about money. But you guys seems same age and similiar looks level so sure you are fine. I just felt bad she had answer your same question over and over.

he's also Asian, living in Asia. in his ancestral continent lol so what if he has an American passport. he naturally has more of a right to be there than any caucasoid, or negroid w the same passport

Stop using BS phrases that don't apply to ANYTHING let alone your situation. There's no "passport bro's movement" just because some magazine decided to classify being cultured and getting out of America as a "thing" because THEY need to identify with things for them to exist at all.
I've been to Thailand a few times and some of the girls in Bangkok speak OK English. Hopefully I meet one there one day. Also, if you get a place for monthly rent, that can't be compromised by a woman or other entity, right? Like just getting an apartment or condo rental.....
YOU DON'T MENTION WHAT TYPE OF VISA YOU USE TO STAY IN THAILAND!! Doesn't matter how cheap it is if you can only stay for 3 months. Even if you purchase property you still need a VISA. No one covers this in their videos.

they will say it and its up to u to test if its true because at the end of the day, words are just words, theres no legally binding contract

His girlfriend is so sweet an honest . I saw vidéo with his parents she was so Nice an real with them . She is a gem dont let her go ❤

My American ex went 50/50. She took 50% of my money while married ...and the other 50% when we divorced!

What are the differences between Thai and Chinese women....please tell. OR do a video on the topic.

I hope your relationship lasts a long time without any disappointments. Could I know what origin you are from and your age if that doesn't bother you?
