Japan is deeply involved in Polish independence. Japan continued to support Poland's independence. The first Polish head of state, Piłsudski, came to Japan around 1904. And he asked Japan to beat Russia and support Polish independence. Japan has promised to help Poland. Japan beat Russia in the Russo-Japanese War. There were about 4,600 Polish POWs in the Matsuyama POW camp. They were forced to be Russian soldiers. Japan treated Polish POWs as friends. Japan was kind to Poles. 4,600 Polish POWs were very pleased with the victory of Japan in the Russo-Japanese War. With this victory, Poles have a chance to resurrect Poland. After that, Japan continued to support Poland's independence. Piustsuki awarded the medal to about 30 Japanese soldiers. Piłsudski taught Japan how to crack cryptography. The soil of Yasukuni Shrine in Japan is placed in the grave of Piustsuki. The colors of the Japanese and Polish flags are the same.
In 1920 and 1922 Japan rescued 765 Polish orphans in Siberia. Poland asked Japan to rescue an orphan. Japan used 73,000 people to rescue 765 Polish orphans. More than 3000 Japanese have died in Siberia.Japan has spent more than $10 million in salvage for orphans. The youngest orphan was a one-year-old girl. Almost all Japanese donated money to save the orphans. Japan loves Poland.

Try the "you no conquer graveyard, graveyard conquers you" challenge, in which you have to conquer the whole world as Afghanistan, you can't join factions, you can only have 3 puppets at a time, you have to fight a civil war in order to change your ideology and you can't boost your ideology.

That's almost like in our history :P I mean, 100 years ago, the first thing we did after achieving our independence again was the colonization of the Ukraine (I'm simplifying things here, but we made Ukrainians essentially Indians to our Wild West - we banned their language from usage both in public and in schools, demolished their churches and colonized the whole thing (notable generals were granted some lands there) as well as creation of "Marintime and Colonial League".
Well, we didn't manage to actually colonize anything in the Interwar period, but the support for the colonies was enormous. We almost got ourselfs Madagascar from the French, but the negotiations were postponed due to the War and all...
But we did manage to settle Brazil and their government didn't notice that at first until some time later... When they found out we already settled some farmers in there, they weren't happy about that. We also didn't think it would be bad for us to have some nice and cozy African colony... I mean, all Europeans have African colonies, so we should, too, right?
You see, I don't exactly follow the logic of our ancestors. I get that it was mainly for prestige, Second Republic viewed itself as a Great Power and all... But we just were under foreign occupation for more than 100 years and no one thought that enslaving Africans or even Ukrainians was bad. At least during the Napoleonic Wars, when Polish soldiers were sent to Haiti thought: Hell, why are we even fighting those guys, they want freedom, just like we do!
Nothing of that sort happened here, of course.
I don't want to sound like I'm bashing them, these were different times and all, but I can't help but feel ashamed for what they did.. or tried to do. Even inside Poland proper, most of the eastern voivodships were populated by non-Poles, especially those that are now part of Belarus. I feel that we should have aided independent Belarus and Ukraine in their struggles, so that Soviet border would be farther away from us, and they could've acted as a good buffer for us... Instead, Piłsudski basically betrayed Petlura.
Sorry for all that rant, you just tried to be funny.

Here's the story of Rhodesia, a land both fair and great. On 11th of November an independent state. This was much against the wishes of certain governments. Whose leaders tried to break us down, to make us all repent.
'Cause we're all Rhodesians and we'll fight through thick and thin. We'll keep our land a free land, stop the enemy coming in. We'll keep them north of the Zambezi till that river's running dry. This mighty land will prosper for Rhodesians never die.
They can send their men to murder and they can shout their words of hate. But the cost of keeping this land free will never be too great. For our men and boys are fighting for the things that they hold dear. This land and all its people will never disappear.
'Cause we're all Rhodesians and we'll fight through thick and thin. We'll keep our land a free land, stop the enemy coming in. We'll keep them north of the Zambezi till that river's running dry. This mighty land will prosper for Rhodesians never die.
We'll preserve this little nation, for our children's children too. For once you're a Rhodesian, no other land will do We will stand forth in the sunshine, with the truth upon our side. And if we have to go alone, we'll go alone with pride.
Cause' we're all Rhodesians and we'll fight through thick and thin. We'll keep our land a free land, stop the enemy coming in. We'll keep them north of the Zambezi till that river's running dry. This mighty land will prosper for Rhodesians never die.

About Roman Dmowski - he was more nationalist than fascist. He wanted Polish state as unified Polish nation, minorities were allowed but not as such as in plans of Piłsudski.
In 1939 Polish people were like 30-40% of total population - something similar to nowadays Latvia (majority of people in Latvia are Russian minority).
This was thing Dmowski wanted to avoid and did so in Ryga, when his representatives dominated Polish delegation and signed treaty with Soviet Union. Dmowski wanted to consolidate Polish state, not federalize country as e.g. Piłsudski wanted.
He might be sympathizer with fascist nationalism at first, but later he stated that:
    1. fascism is not nationalism - it was based on nationalistic zeal, but is twisted, based chauvinism
    2. Authoritarian governments in nationalistic country are sign of weakness of ruling party - if they cannot secure their position in hearts of people, then they take power by force.
Dmowski was more nationalist than anything other. In fascism he was admiring nationalistic zeal - most fascist states started with nationalism and was twisted by group of individuals into similar, but more oppressive ideology. Nationalism puts your nation as highest value, your own traditions and cultivation of them - nationalism does not want to get rid of anyone other, but says simply: "My nation is great and I want to serve it". Fascism is uniting people mainly not on love to ones nation, but on the fear and disrespect towards other nations.
In 1930s Dmowski many times was pointing that government is not doing good job, because Jews in small cities are really poor, live like beggars. Fascist would show no interest in that.
At that time Dmowski wanted that minorities would in time assimilate into Polish nation, not to get rid of them from Polish land, but to better fit into Polish society.

it’s still the closest paradox had to implement to be the fascist demagogue. plus fascism is being incredibly obedient to the state and it’s ruler, not being disrespectful to other nations. Dmowski had very fascist ideals during that time period, which is why paradox selected him to be the fascist demagogue. sure he had some nationalistic views, but what fascist doesn’t? every fascist is a nationalist but with added ideals such as anti semitism as Taureor has stated and with quotes that Dmowski has said himself, so he was a fascist.

Yeah that was a time when entire world found out about 'white gloves'. Germany got angry about it. It's fun to make assumptions about something that happened 100 years ago. People got sick of everyone else's stuff and wanted own stuff after a Great War. Can't tell about Mussolini part, and define fascism as You used it, and that's why most of Poles don't agree on Dmowski's settings in the game. Fascism is Italian way for Nazism, and there was about to be a Polish way of those, yet nobody will ever consider any positives of them, not even for poeple that just got out of occupation, slavery and humiliation. That's why Poland got abandoned by France and Great Britain. They had no f-ing idea on what's going on and continued with their own phobic approach.

For centuries, Poland was a mixture of cultures, Poles, Jews, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Lithuanians, Germans, Tatars lived here, and in 1938 69% of the population declared Polish nationality. The present, post-war Poland is inhabited in 96% by Poles.
If Poles could decide on the shape of borders, they would prefer the old ones, it would not be Poles who wanted to seize ruined and looted German lands with German population. Allies sold Poland into Soviet influence, so Stalin drew Polish borders, he did not have a friendship for Poles.
