As lots of people have dogs in the UK I’ve noticed when buying pre owned footwear that about 50% have lots of pet hair inside, do you clean the insides or not bother? I cannot bear the thought of sending shoes with hair inside to a customer so I’m literary in there with cellotape wrapped around my hands and tweezers😅 to get the ones stuck in the in-soles, see so many listings on eBay and the photos of the insides are still caked in hair I’m like why are you not cleaning them🤷♂️
Undercover are a Japanese streetwear brand and those Nike reacts were a limited release - you’re probably looking at more like £50+ depending on condition
Im laughing at all the people saying that if vinted pro were to be introduced it would destroy vinted when in france where vinted pro is you can sell to users in italy austria and Spain and there are still thousands of users who list items for super cheap and plenty for everyone to snipe from. You lot evidently dont have a clue about what vinted is especially internationally.
I was wondering if someone could clarify for me please as I am not in the UK & don't have Vinted. If the prices are so cheap on Vinted why doesn't the seller list them on other platforms like Depop & eBay to sell for a higher price?
Vinted is user easy to post on. It's designed purely for Joe Public. There's no business sellers on there (supposedly), so everything that's on there has come from someone's house/wardrobe
Ive seen resellers before say buying on vinted and selling online for profit it unethical and ripping people off. I dont really understand the difference and i do it myself. Was wondering if anyone has any feelings on this?
Hi george, i've been watching you for years now but i've got to say. it's a bit shortsighted to wonder why there are no professional sellers allowed on vinted. you've seen what reselling has done to charity shops with them upping the prices to compete with ebay , which is turn is also reflected by ebay getting more expensive to account for it. I've seen you complain multiple times about prices beeing much inflated everywhere even in this video, so its baffling that you then say vinted should allow the same that is messing up ebay now. it's about the only place you can still get good deals like you used to on ebay, since its set up as a second hand market place site. I don't know where i was going with this but it just annoyed me a bit , still watching you though and i do love the bootsale vids etc.
I'm probably in the minority - if I put my buying hat on, I really don't want Vinted UK to be awash with resellers. We all know there's resellers on there, but they're easily spotted. Should Vinted bow to pressure and open up to pro's, then it's going to be like every other site and lose its uniqueness.
@TheHappyThrafter i won an auction on ebay for 8 pounds overall for high tops that are worth £100.. So I don't think it would change regardless. The fact that there are no selling fees is the real key difference. It allows people to reinvest in general.
Ebay is getting more expensive because of the fees which means you have to charge 5 10 pounds on top of what you would be happy with. If they removed the seller fees ebay would make vinted bankrupt overnight. Instead ebay are allowing vinted to come in and take over.
@ragazzoitaliano5478 as I said....... "as a buyer". Frankly, I couldn't care less about other countries. I don't buy from vinted in other countries. As a buyer, I know what I'm looking for. As a seller, I know what the worth is. As an ebayer for 20+ years both as a buyer and with 3 current shops on there, I think I know the difference in the eBay business model for the UK and, say, for instance.. the USA...and they are totally different. Vinteds business model (in all countries) is vastly different to eBay BUT with the same premise, because that's what they based it on. Buyer protection fees, wardrobe spotlights, bumping listed items, and third-party advertising, makes the revenue .... Keeping it simple.... Grandma, sucking eggs
Cant believe you stuck your hand in them Doc martin sandals, someones crusty feet were lurking in them :)
Hi George just FYI those pink shoes are Air Max 1's not 95's

What a brilliant video. Love that light box. Pleased you got a homer at the end.
Got to love Vinted, I remember those Guccis from back in the day, I’m sure they will clean up well.
Can't believe that someone can send such dirty foot wear
You could use the different colour backgrounds of the lightbox to indicate the category of product.
How can anyone sell a pair of trainers caked in muck? I wouldn’t have the hard neck to send that out.
I clean mine and my 21years old son's trainers after every time we wear them to keep them in good condition
@@alexrigg3143 you are obviously the type of person that would sell crap like that. Most people have a bit of common decency
Calm down you girl
It’s good for the buyers, get it way cheaper because you can be arsed to do 5 minutes cleaning and they can’t.
@@minmo2288 easy profit especially if you know how to clean
Some rubber sole shoes if stored in cold shed garage. Sole can disintegrate.
Lenny 100% finding that fudge
It would be interesting to know how much it would for the " Doc Martin sandles " for Doc Martin to repair them, as they do repair things
I've got a pair of authentic gucci and prada loafers that I don't wear if you might be interested happy to sell them. I've purchased from you before.

It’s still good profits after eBay’s fees, postage fees, promoting fees , package cost and tax ?
I'm put off selling on depop as I've heard it can take 10 days for the payment to come through?
Where Is the light box from?

wouldnt consider it as ripping anyone they put the item on at a certain price its easy to quickly check the market and see what the true value is
thanks mate. Have a great week
If amy still has the receipt for your sliders, she can return them, as barber's guarantee them, & will replace them
took me 4 months to sell an almost new pair of nike boots for £20 on ebay
