I checked, it's like 25% HP damage. It's a really easy bit to do though, and built straight into the charting instead of a whole dodge mechanic. If you die to it though (probably on purpose), Pico does get an alternate death screen, so it's worth it.
God I love Blazin' so much. That twist was so cool and well made that I'm convinced the official game won't disappoint us, even after we've had our standards drastically raised by fan mods.
The fact that so many high quality mods have come out, and the original devs can STILL come up with things that modders never thought of...yeah, I'd say you're right.

Nightmare Difficulty is basically the Erect songs’ equivalent of hard mode it’s the difficulty that syncs to all the notes and has harder charting unlike the actual Erect Difficulty.. it’s weird! This Update took 3 years because after they delayed the update 2 years ago, they wanted to make it a V-slice update where all the older content would be overhauled to match the quality of the full game, include erect remixes for EVERY song and have pico be a playable character for all songs in freeplay! But ultimately they dedicated to just release what they initially planned 2 years ago (WeekEnd 1 and Some of the Erect Remixes) and save the V-slice stuff for smaller updates that’ll release every few months!
I never thought FNF would ever get new update, but stay in a deep coma with various mods to be (many of which aren't actually mods, but separate games btw). (also, I'm wrong and they are still mods, just of a high quality) Speak aside, 409 of asking Merg to play Crosscode

Here are some explanations for the characters: The black kid is called Darnell, as you already know. His first appearance was in Newgrounds's first flash game called "Pico's School" made by the founder of Newgrounds himself Tom Fulp. Pico's School is about Pico surviving school from a goth girl named Cassandra who started a school shooting along with her friends. Darnell's face appears in a poster where he requests to become school president, also stating that he has 5 years left to live. He has no physical appearance, either he died from Cassandra, or he became absent from school. Darnell also has a habit to set things on fire. The Asian girl is named Nene, who also came from Pico's School. She survived from Cassandra, but due to the incident, she became traumatized to the point she became suicidal, but she couldn't take away her own life, so she begs Pico to kill her, now that he has a gun. Pico has the option to shoot her, if that's what the player desires. Also, Nene dying either from murder or usually suicide has become a running gag inside and outside of Newgrounds. She also originally had yellow skin in Pico's School, but its changed elsewhere because the reasons are obvious.
The cans in 2hot actually are a mechanic. If you miss the note that makes pico shoot, he won’t shoot the can and will get hit. It doesn’t insta kill though, it just does a bit of damage (more than regularly missing a not though). Erect songs are remixes of the original songs that are more difficult than their normal songs and harder than all other songs in vanilla in general. Nightmare also uses the erect remixes, but they have harder charting, so it’s just erect hard mode basically.
Merg there are still erect remixes for almost every song in freeplay, please check them out they are the single whole reason that makes this update worth the wait (i havent watched the video yet so i dont know yet if he found out about them
They keep making me love Pico even more Blazin’ being like breakcore/dnb is making me INSANE. The ambient sort of style is giving me early Playstation/Dreamcast vibes. I LOVE this.
Finally, an FNF update. Also, I decided to play it for myself via download, but unfortunately after Darnell (the song, not the dude) the game crashed due to a "null reference." So instead I decided to get fricked over by the Erect Mixes, which have also been added. Overall, a solid 11/10 for the game and its tracks. The musicians are goated.
7:06 I can confirm from my many fails, if you miss the left arrow when Darnell throws the spray bomb at you it doesn't instakill, but it explodes and does way more damage than a normal miss, and if you die to it it does a special game over animation. It also seems like it's not just a scripted animation it is a mechanic, when the bomb is thrown you're briefly put in a state where if you ghost tap the left arrow Pico fires and misses, I accidentally tapped twice around the note and Pico fired 2 shots then got hit, if you shoot on time with the note Pico hits the can and stops it. Edit: I also noticed a quality of life change, in the old versions ghost tapping counted as a miss and broke your combo, in this update ghost tapping does damage to your hp and lowers your score by 10 but doesn't seem to break your combo, only missing a note entirely does.
Something about the first animation I noticed 1. Tankman died at the end of week 7 2. Pico actually came in to kill boyfriend, but then didn’t for some reason, maybe because of the red eye from girlfriend?
This was really unexpected but i'm glad to see an official update for the game, the animations specially are AWESOME! Also, I still can't believe it's been 3 YEARS since Week 7, like... HOW?!

have you tried doing the week again? i got the error too and played an erect song and then played through the whole week again and it worked
