I just got a message from a recruiter about a BDR position with a local tech company. They were rated best place to work 3 years in a row recently... Immediately the imposter syndrome hit me because I'm just finishing the course... What she said hit home. I'm still nervous about the 1st interview.
Nice. I wish she would have been transparent about the salary. She said double her previous salary, but we don’t know what that is. Does that mean her starting salary was 70k? 80k? 100K? Everything else was very helpful.
Based on the research I've done she'll easily pull at least 80k. That will most likely double in the next year to 18 months. Not a bad start to a brand-new career.
@@Kaity11 The research and videos I’ve seen have shared their salary. Specifically because THEY shared the importance of knowing what you should ask for.
@@coursecareers Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely give your course a try. If people like Bruce Willis or James Earl Jones didn't allow a stutter/stammer to stop their success, then I shouldn't allow it either. I think its possible to do well, if we stop the personal doubt/fear from holding us back. No one is perfect & mistakes will be made along the way

Not everyone feels comfortable disclosing their pay most especially on social media, for so many reasons and i think that should be respected.
Why? Just do research lol it’s not complicated

Her business isn't that important for us to know it's beneficial enough to know she leveled up !
Great video!
This is great!
Another great interview...@course careers do you think tech sales will be difficult for someone with a speech impediment/ (stutter)?
It could be challenging as verbal communication is a large part of the job.

@@billyraeee2082 If you makes you feel any better. I guarantee you that as you age in the position your stutter won’t be an issue.
