The fact that this drama is comedic but we still feel the pain and heartbreak of each character just shows how talented the actor and actress are
I swear, the comedy is the only thing that is keeping this drama from being too painful.

Thanks to that Jang something who posses the queen's body this drama doesn't seems like tragedy. It is actually a very sad story, but the comedy neutralize it

You know why it's so easy to create a very *angsty* edit out of this drama? It's because of Bong Hwan. He's the core of this drama's comedic elements, and so long as he is there, the pain? The sadness? The anger? The flourishing human greed within the palace? All of that is *repressed* with Bong Hwan in the picture. His presence is so damn humorous to the point that the serious parts of the drama don't feel as relevant as it should be-which is a good thing and a bad thing for us.
It's a good thing because that means that the producers really stood up to the drama's comedy genre and met everyone's expectations. Usually the most comedy a historical drama can get is a 1-minute funny skit in a romcom, so seeing a comedy-based historical drama is a breath of fresh air.
Now, it's a bad thing for us because due to the serious parts of the drama being repressed almost every time, it's like a bottle of soda waiting to come out and explode at us anytime.
Im all over the place this is so heartbreaking

@@bernardbordadoid5831 I have seen a youtube vedio which shows party and last days photoshoots of the cast....So I observed that most of the members of the cast wore white clothes and the lead actor was nowhere to be seen....There are also photos in which the cast wore war attires including Queen....Probably he dies in war.... and more over in Chinese version both of the main lead die fighting in a coup or war defending each other's back....Dont get your hopes high there is a greater chance of giving this series a sad ending....
@@himabindu1422 there was this last shoot photo with the production team, in that both the king & queen is seen wearing hanboks😹 & they are happily posing. That one was the last shot according to what they captioned
@@Yawasha-we8gu I think that part where both king and queen were seen in hanbok was not the ultimate climax....I'm talking abt the photoshoots where almost everyone including the king's lover wore white clothes but there was no King among them(so it may be king's funeral)....
@@himabindu1422 nopeeee😹 kings lover was wearing white clothes but that was nt funreal garments. I think the grand dowager queen died thats why kim clan was seeing wearing white funreal garments. Hence they wont kill the king because he is planning a reform against the kim clan so he need to win it & defeat kim clan. Though in actual history king died because of kim clan but here they are not taking the actual history. Actual king was a womenizor & a alcoholic but in the drama he is not like that. If my guess is right i think the queens soul will be back in her body & bonghwan will return to his life. King will defeat the kim clan. Grand queen dowager will die because if he wants to win the reform either kim ja gaewun or the grand queen dowager has to die.
