I've been trying to do this, to understand this, since 2007 when I became a Christian but something was always missing - thank you, and God's timing, for such a longed-for enlightening - lighter now that the weight of condemnation has lifted - and lighter because the light you have shed has overcome the darkness.
A model Christian gentleman; too humble to call himself that; empathic toward his listeners; informed by decades of marriage, listening to others and raising children; deeply knowledgeable of the Bible; humorous at good times; an artful user of his voice and image; and firm in his resolve and in his trust of God. I can look at him and see what the Spirit of God can do with someone if they will obey.
