    Did you also try this: shoot in 4k and then downsampling to 1080p? This should give a better result than shoot in HD, right?

      Agreed, if the 15 minute limit is not an issue, I'd recommend always shooting 4K and downsampling to 1080p.

    what is the crop factor of the sensor and reduced angle of view when going from 4k to 1080p?

    sorry I don t know about that I haven't done it :)
    do you mean for example filming in 4K and then export the movie in 1080 ?

      Thanks. For example, when i would import the 4K footage in an editting program and set the project in 1080p and than you edit. In that case one benefits of the dynamic range, the depth of colours and also some sharpness of 4K.
