I love how Reaper ends up accepting how he can't have what he had with Geno, as much as he tries to recreate it. I love how he ends up falling in love and accepting Error for who he is now, and accepts him wholeheartedly not just because he was once his lover in a previous life, but because he ended up truly cherishing the memories he made with them. The story behind this is so vivid. I imagine it like this! Reaper blamed himself for Geno being gone. Sometimes he still couldn't believe it. They has a fight and Reaper stormed out. When Reaper returned... Geno was nowhere to be found. His scarf lay tattered on the floor of the void. Reaper hated his job after that. After the lost of the one he loved. He didnt want to bring anyone else that pain. He didnt want people to feel that loss. See his sad look at the grave part. Later we see Error attacking some humans. It flashes back to his side of the story. When Reaper left Geno kept experimenting most likely with determination by the color. He is lost. This isn't the void ... it's emptier. Geno falls to his knees and clutches his head as his glitches grow worse. He trembles in pain. Why did he come here? Why!? Error is the only thing that remains. Error is not Geno. Not by a long shot. Back to Error with the humans. Frisk tries to fight him and Error attacks. Sans defends Frisk. Error is stunned and frozen. Reaper decided to intervene on a whim. Perhaps this could make him feel better? He didn't know. He cut Sans free and went to attack Error. He cut Error straight across the chest. The wound reminded him of something. "You. You killed him!" Error is silent as he holds a hand over his wound. He dissapears into a portal. Outertale always calmed Error. He liked seeing the stars after many lifetimes of not having them. He turns the doll of Reaper over in his hands before tossing it into the abyss. Reaper interuppted his thoughts. "You thought you could get away? Id never let you get away with what you did." Error looks up from his thoughts confused at first. The fight hurt Errors soul. He didnt want to do this but.... Reaper paused in his fighting. Something about Error.... That's it. "Geno...Its you..." Error goes still and spits out a few words. "I'm not him!" He opens a portal to escape. He had to leave. " Wait! Geno! Wait!" Reaper called running to catch up. Error takes a step. reaper catches him. He goes stiff once more. "Stay!" Reaper cried. Errors eyes glitched out. He raised his hand and summoned an attack. Reaper backed off. The portal closed behind Error. "Wait! Geno!!" Reaper stands there depressed a moment. Then he smiles. "Alright then Error..." He can work with this. Cue montage of them falling in love again. One day Reaper pulls out the scarf. Error tenses up immediately. "Not again.." he whispered "I told you im not him!" Error hissed again. His soul ached. Just when he thought this was better. He goes to run away again. Reaper drops the scarf and goes after him. Error tries to stop him by firing attacks. "Wait!" "Hey wait!" Reaper calls after him. Error pulls away and goes to string Reaper up. He's panting and there are tears in his eye sockets. Reaper smiles. "I know you aren't him. But that doesnt mean I don't want you." Error stares at him in surprise for a moment. " Error...?" He clenches his fist and storms over grabbing Reaper by the collar. "Idiot." He whispered before they were kissing. Soulmates can never truly part.
5:45 is the exact moment where Reaper realized that Error is not and never will be Geno, but he fell for him despite that. The whole time when Reaper was comparing those two they both were facing the same direction, reminding him of the past, he only saw the similarities. But here 5:45 Geno is facing the other direction- he is gone. Error and him might have some similarities, but also differences. Reaper pushes the scarf away, finally letting go of the past and finally finds peace and hope

I love this video. Here what I think is happening here. You have Reaper haunted by his failure to save Geno from his past and believing Geno died (possible kill himself in a lab accident.) And, he could not recover from the lost so took to protecting Geno's world. As for Geno, he had physical escape from being trapped in the save screen, but not mentally. This cause Reaper to pull away from him, while at the same time, Geno continue his experiment with determination just in case Frisk reset and started a genocide run. This lead to him trapping himself in the antivoid and him turning into Error. Error tried to move on with Blue, but it didn't work causing Error to take his angry out on a nearby AU. However, he did not realize it was HIS world he was attacking until he capture Sans, who posses the other half of his soul. So he is panicking and trying to figure out what to do when Reaper attacks. Reaper is ready to kill Error until he realizes that he knows Error's soul, it's Geno's. Error knows and remembers Reaper, but assume that he would want nothing to do with him because he is the destroyer of worlds now and NOT Geno anymore. So when Reaper appears, Error attacks. Reaper was ready to kill Error in that battle, but he had to "know" if Error was "Geno". Once Reaper is certain, he reaches out to "Geno", but Error is no longer Geno. He has a new life now, new experiences, new scars (can't stand being touch), and he rejects Reaper. This cause Reaper distress until realise that he will just have to win "Geno" over again. So that what he does and Error was receptive to Reaper's affection until he saw the scarf. At that moment, Error believes Reaper does not see him as himself, but as Geno. It was not until Reaper realize his mistake, dropping Geno's scarf (symbolizing him let go of the past and the ghost of Geno) and ran after Error. It is only than that Error realize that Reaper sees him as he is NOW, accepts him as he is NOW, and loves him as he is NOW. That he wants Error, not Geno. Only then is Error able to "stay" with Reaper and accept Reaper's love once again.

It took me a while to know how this ship was possible... Then I remembered that Geno, at some point, turns into Error. According to fandom sources 🤷🏽♀️
what i think the story is briefly: geno and reaper have a fight, and reaper storms out and when he gets back, geno is gone and his scarf is the only thing he has left of him. we see that reaper is troubled by geno being gone and that he doesn't like inflicting that same pain onto others, so we see when he is upset or annoyed looking while doing his job. we then see error's blasters and cut to the other side of the story (sort-of). Geno becomes error as seen in the scene of a glitched looking classic with the same features to the geno we saw becoming more and more glitched and we then see error. then we see him upset about blue leaving, so he goes to relieve stress by destroying, and when the frisk stands up to him a sans saves them and when error grabs his soul he sees the soul that the sans in geno's timeline/Au would have (geno having the small fragment of it that is missing) so he becomes shocked and this is where the stories connect. Reaper comes in and i think he, since he doesn't enjoy seeing others suffer due to loss of loved ones, intervenes to stop peoples loved ones from being taken from them. he attacks error and sees geno's soul and tries to get error to stay, because he is confused and is plagued with questions of how and why. Error goes to outertale because it is a place that calms him, and reaper follows, to get answers. Error is upset because he remembers reaper and gets annoyed and throws the doll he had of him. reaper then tried to ask if error was geno, which initiates a fight. reaper then sees geno in error and it clicks, Error IS geno. and he tries to get error to stay with him , error doesn't like being touched so he reflexively attacks and leaves. leaving an upset reaper, who then decides that he will stay determined to get him back. They spend time together and grow feelings again. But then when reaper shows the scarf again, this makes error upset, seeing as error doesn't want to be viewed as who he used to be, and he though reaper saw him as who he is now. reaper tries correcting his mistake and error is angry and upset and starts attacking, and catches reaper with his strings. when reapers says his name, he doesn't call him geno, he accepts that he is error now. Error then accepts reaper's feelings, and his own, reaper accepts him and then error kisses reaper and are once again together. thats what i think anyways ^w^

Holy cow. The story for this is great but also this video is so well synced and timed with the music that it really helps add to the story and gives me chills watching it. GODDAMN. This was so incredibly WELL DONE. I felt like afterdeath was overrated due to it being everywhere. But with reaper x error (I know there's a ship name I just cannot remember) it felt more solid and real. I'm mainly an errink shipper but this was so fun to watch. I love how well you did with the editing and how HARD the song goes with the flow of the comic. ♥️♥️♥️

I love that Reaper learns to love Error in the end. Not because heu sed to be Geno, but because he fell in love with Error as he is now. Error and Geno may have some similarities, but they will never be the same. Geno is gone, and Error is all that remains. Reaper couldn’t see past it at first, seeing Geno in Error instead of just Error as he truly is. Once he got past that, once he let go of the scarf- moving on from the past-, did he truly start seeing Error for who he is, and not who he reminds him of. And of course, only then will Error accept him.

what i think the story is briefly:
geno and reaper have a fight, and reaper storms out and when he gets back, geno is gone and his scarf is the only thing he has left of him. we see that reaper is troubled by geno being gone and that he doesn't like inflicting that same pain onto others, so we see when he is upset or annoyed looking while doing his job. we then see error's blasters and cut to the other side of the story (sort-of). Geno becomes error as seen in the scene of a glitched looking classic with the same features to the geno we saw becoming more and more glitched and we then see error. then we see him upset about blue leaving, so he goes to relieve stress by destroying, and when the frisk stands up to him a sans saves them and when error grabs his soul he sees the soul that the sans in geno's timeline/Au would have (geno having the small fragment of it that is missing) so he becomes shocked and this is where the stories connect.
Reaper comes in and i think he, since he doesn't enjoy seeing others suffer due to loss of loved ones, intervenes to stop peoples loved ones from being taken from them. he attacks error and sees geno's soul and tries to get error to stay, because he is confused and is plagued with questions of how and why. Error goes to outertale because it is a place that calms him, and reaper follows, to get answers. Error is upset because he remembers reaper and gets annoyed and throws the doll he had of him. reaper then tried to ask if error was geno, which initiates a fight. reaper then sees geno in error and it clicks, Error IS geno. and he tries to get error to stay with him , error doesn't like being touched so he reflexively attacks and leaves. leaving an upset reaper, who then decides that he will stay determined to get him back.
They spend time together and grow feelings again. But then when reaper shows the scarf again, this makes error upset, seeing as error doesn't want to be viewed as who he used to be, and he though reaper saw him as who he is now. reaper tries correcting his mistake and error is angry and upset and starts attacking, and catches reaper with his strings. when reapers says his name, he doesn't call him geno, he accepts that he is error now. Error then accepts reaper's feelings, and his own, reaper accepts him and then error kisses reaper and are once again together.
thats what i think anyways ^w^

Holy cow. The story for this is great but also this video is so well synced and timed with the music that it really helps add to the story and gives me chills watching it. Both the artist and the video maker should be very proud with their work on this it's so amazing!

GODDAMN. This was so incredibly WELL DONE. I felt like afterdeath was overrated due to it being everywhere. But with reaper x error (I know there's a ship name I just cannot remember) it felt more solid and real. I'm mainly an errink shipper but this was so fun to watch. I love how well you did with the editing and how HARD the song goes with the flow of the comic. ♥️♥️♥️

I love that Reaper learns to love Error in the end. Not because heu sed to be Geno, but because he fell in love with Error as he is now.
Error and Geno may have some similarities, but they will never be the same. Geno is gone, and Error is all that remains. Reaper couldn’t see past it at first, seeing Geno in Error instead of just Error as he truly is. Once he got past that, once he let go of the scarf- moving on from the past-, did he truly start seeing Error for who he is, and not who he reminds him of.
And of course, only then will Error accept him.
I rewatched this like almost 20 times, it's so good!
