  • TRIGGER WARNING
Yesterday Alexa Nikolas received some pretty problematic screenshots from young girls in regards to Justin Long and Brandon Quinn’s alleged DMs to them when they were allegedly only 15 years old. Children! Allegedly these DMs were around 2018 and 2019. I have the screenshots sadly and I’m gonna pull them up since I got permission to from both of the young girls. Yeah, you didn't watch the episode. I don't care about Justin Long but the idea of the prank, which was made pretty clear in the episode, is that Justin is set up to go on a double date with Jonah (and Justin's brother came along for moral support, I guess?) then at some point, he finds out that the girls are underage and it deliberately becomes more chaotic when the "father" of one of them shows up. Jonah was literally the one who helped orchestrate the prank. Justin proceeds to try to deescalate the tension in order to prevent the girls from getting in trouble.
Once again, I'm hardly a fan of Justin or Jonah but seriously, watch the actual segment/episode instead of chopped up clips on Tik Tok with lame commentary over top of it most likely.

Man, this one really gets me. I had a crush on Brandon Quinn when I was kid because I watched him on Big Wolf on Campus when it was airing. I had such fond memories of this man because of a character he played on a TV show I adored. When I rewatched it in 2022, he actually replied to me on twitter (nothing special, just said something about it being some of his best memories or whatever), and even as a grown woman at the time I felt so excited that this man saw me and responded to me. So, I can already 1000% imagine being that younger, more vulnerable girl referencing her favorite show and getting swept up in his attention. It's sad and it's sickening. This really takes me back to the way older guys talked to me, and my friends, online when we were younger. Nothing really ever came of it with any of us, but we let those conversations go on too long. I’m not implying we as children had the responsibility to end those interactions, I’m pointing out that we realized it wasn’t good, but didn’t have the developmental ability to make those better decisions.
Adults should not be talking online with children, and they definitely shouldn’t be speaking to them like this. I’m only 25 now, and the thought of flirting with an 18 year old creeps me out, let alone a fucking 15 year old.

omg I was like where I have I seen Brandon Quinn from? Then the fosters was mentioned, wasn’t his character on the show not allowed be around minors, wow! He is disgusting. None of these men should be allowed to work in Hollywood or near minors ever again! Keep doing what you’re doing Alexa, we’re listening loud and clear! ❤

Thank you for what you do. I remember having to stop someone from doing god knows what to a fourteen year old he was dating (we were both 18 at the time). No one really was bothered by their relationship enough and when I realized they both disappeared from the group one night I was done. I was so nervous to even remotely confront him, and even when I did it was very indirect. He took her downstairs, where it was dim and no one was around. It was also at church. God knows what would’ve happened if I hadn’t been brave enough to even try. I still sometimes feel like I overreacted, but I’m glad that I listened to my instincts that time.

Thank you for doing this. I’m a survivor and I was first groomed at 13 in a very similar way to these girls. It helps my brain continue to process + heal while validating my experience. These older men with influence and power are responsible for their actions, not vulnerable minors. Thank you.

And the predator told me his name was Roland. And he said he was from Africa. He even asked me if I had s*x before.
      He also had different conversations.
And he even manipulated me into giving my cell phone number.
He talked to me on our cell phones. I was shy. He told me he really loved my voice and thought I sounded really cute….
Eventually he manipulated me into giving my dad’s address too. Luckily my dad found out what was going on and stopped me from talking to that predator.
And the guy didn’t come to the house at all.

The first person I thought of was Drew Barrymore. She’s made her show such a compassionate place for everyone, especially survivors of trauma and abuse, like Jennette McCurdy and Demi Lovato, and really connected with them about their shared experiences of child stardom and self-medicating. She’s also remained on good terms with Justin since they dated, and he was also on her show not long ago. It makes me wonder how much she knows, and if she does know, how does she justify being his friend?

We will not be silenced and we will continue to fight for our voices to be heard. Thank you again.❤️

9:11 that is absolutely disgusting, it reminds me of a predator on undercover underage (a tv show following the work of a non-profit agency that fights against internet predators like Justin). Having a 15 YEAR OLD girl call you daddy then responding with “would I be adopting you” is major red flags. For a lot of predators they get off on the idea that they are taking “care of” the child. Like a weird sick fantasy. Absolutely vile.
