You might already have one, but it is a must you have a sophisticated tracking system for your car. People are pulling scams all the time with renting new cars with fake identities/documents and stealing the cars. Also if your personal insurance doesnt know you are renting out, you could be in for big problems if you have an issue, they may revoke or deny coverage. Be careful. A lot of liability for pennies. If you own the vehicle outright and could absorb the loss if there was one, you limit your risk but you are in a high risk position.
As soon as the “guest” gets behind the wheel of my Durango, everything is covered by the rental company’s insurance policy with zero deductible to me. That’s why I only get 75% of the rate the guest pays. If you never rented out your personal vehicle, you should probably refrain from giving unsolicited advice on the topic.
Yes, but another scam going down is " partswapping " pulling you're tranny or diff of rentals & swap em over. Big business now.Ask yourself what does this dodgy guy with different names want with a hemi brother?? You ain't covered for nothing then. . @HHTV60
I carried a few pets already as I’m registered for Uber Pet - no problems so far. Most dogs sit on the floor, and a couple of cats I carried were all inside a travel cage.
Long reply: if you look at regular car rental companies, most of their vehicles are pretty new. that gotta tell you something. when I go over to rent a car, I don't like renting a 3 year old POS with 200K on the speedometer, so new is good for the customer. Short reply: don't worry it -- it's my car.

No mats in bathtub is good.

Is that 613 per month? That is pretty good. I hope you do not rent out your newest car; they will just burn off the rubber and wear it out.
