I'm considering making a trip through there. Would it be really difficult to go there if someone doesn't know French? I'm guessing that drive is pretty rural and English could be difficult.
Hello Cur244, It won’t be difficult to reach la Vérendrye, the drive is smooth. It is true that when you travel outside of Montreal, French is the main language. Nevertheless you’ll be surprised, there are a lot people speaking English too ;)
