1) I got John Wick vibes now and then while watching the film. Rocky has got the demeanor that John Wick has, both characters have nothing to lose and they're straight about their goals. 2) The blue tube lights with complementary orange bulbs to create a focal point where the character ends up at the end of the shot gave me similar vibes to a 2D action game environmental art.
That scene is actually heavily inspired from Park Chan-wook's Oldboy. The way the scene was set up, the fight in the corridor, the use of lighting, the sound, and Rocky being a ruthless killer not just because he wanted revenge, but because he wanted vengeance.
I was not able to interpret all the subtexts that were being discussed in this interview. But I had paused the interview and revisited the movie. I'm suprised to notice most of the layers that Mr Arun wanted to communicate are being noticed by me. I really want to thank Mr Rangan and Mr Arun for this interview, it made me look at every second of the movie and appreciate the effort of pure storytelling. Ps. I realised why I was not able to interpret the details earlier. It is due to watching movies in which most of them are just spoonfeeding.

Rocky - the core story is inspired by road to predition is that right sir....but u beautifully changed the script to Tamil audiences....
